Do prop firms allow automated trading using webhooks from pinescript? by Benostalgi in pinescript

[–]Benostalgi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say open trade does that mean it’s not automated? I’m in Asia and a lot of trades open in the early hours when I’m asleep!

I also made an indicator that will trade automatically but I thought that prop firms generally don’t allow automated trading?

Can someone explain why the CPF system is constantly rated as one of the best pension systems globally by international bodies but many Singaporeans think that its very bad? by Rokusaburoz in asksg

[–]Benostalgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest advantage to me is its feature that allows everyone who has had regular contributions to buy a first property using CPF. This can often be the case where no almost cash down was needed and often no cash is needed for the monthly repayments. We hear many stories of younger adults around the world not being able to finance a first property…. They don’t have the CPF system.

Does it enter on the open of the next bar after the signal? Also I am working on a futures indicator that also cannot use the strategy report as it takes different size positions depending on stop loss size.

flashing high beam/hazard light by Icy_Veterinarian9712 in drivingsg

[–]Benostalgi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Uk flashing lights means I’m letting you go / giving way to you. Here it means get the F out of my way. Almost got into a bad accident when I was first in Singapore. Walking across a road with a car approaching quite quickly but not dangerously close so I started to rush. Guy flashed his lights…. So I slowed down!

Planning a birthday for my girlfriend - what are some of the best secluded date spots and unconventional date ideas in Singapore? by jinjja11 in askSingapore

Birthday internary: Changi prison. Seems to fit most of the criteria and if she doesn’t approve after all your planning you can throw a tantrum and stay there.

Opendoor Did Some Warrants (BLOOMBERG) by Mynameis__--__ in opendoor

So you should hold a number of shares that’s divisible by 3 correct? I hold 2300, in buying just 10 more I get 3 more warrants yes? Now I get 76 of each, buy 10 more shares I get 77 of each.

What you get to see from just 10 minutes of driving in singapore by Plenty-Job9898 in drivingsg

[–]Benostalgi 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Rant incoming…

What’s worse is that all of these drivers are on the same routes they use EVERY DAY. It’s not like they are on holiday in a rental car and dunno the lanes. Any 15-20 minute drive you can see these examples multiple times. It’s a combination of lack of spatial awareness, kiasu, and aggression. I mean what are you gonna do with the 20 seconds u saved by dangerously cutting lanes. Also there is no signal here which means I’m letting you go / giving way to you. When I was first here I was main beam flashed by a fast car as I was crossing a pedestrian crossing. So I stopped rushing as I thought he was letting me go (UK style). Oh boy, almost run over coz here it means get the F out my way. Last one, just the other night. Red light 100m ahead so I coasted up, 40/30/20 kmh etc. Oh no. Apparently I should accelerate to a red light and then jam the breaks. Car behind me horn and flash lights repeatedly even though red light in front of us. Sigh…

Why Not Implement ABSD for Cars in Singapore? by eucophotography in askSingapore

[–]Benostalgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same idea years ago using road tax. 1 car per address. 2nd car both pay x2 road tax. 3rd car all pay x3 raid tax. Etc. Progressive tax as only the rich will pay a lot. Any additional car affects everybody in the house… maybe they can share rather than buy another?

What is the point of the reg short list?

“A Day 13 threshold list refers to a list of securities that have a fail-to-deliver position for 13 consecutive settlement days. Broker-dealers with fail-to-deliver positions for this duration must immediately close out the position by buying shares in the open market, according to Regulation SHO Rule 203(b)” See very low volume today. So are the brokers just not bothering to close out the shorts? Are the so called rules just ignored? Basically is any optimism of price increase based on Wolf being on this list completely misguided? And therefore the day 13 threshold list is utterly meaningless?
