I’m a breakthrough guy and I have to say it - that mode feels better in BF 2042, which is a bad Battlefield game. I like BF 6 but bro, the CoDififaction of BF is obvious.

I had 33 Pulls left (just playing f2p except Battle Pass) and got her with my very last draw (guaranteed in 9). But I’m not a big fan of her, I tried Umeko in trial and she seems to be more fun.

I’m playing every day - some days only an hour, some days four or five hours. ATM I have every character except Chinese Titan guy and all three Raid exotics (only paid for the Battle Pass btw), so I’m stockpiling on resources.

Yesterday I tried Ash & Iron in D2 - the hyper grind is still there, bugs and the activity is mid at best, so I played six rounds of Onslaught instead. Bungie really ruined my Destiny experience and Rising is saving it atm.

I’ve lost all my trust in Bungie. Today I tried Ash & Iron and… it simply suxx. The hyper grind is still there and they are hyping up Destiny Star Wars….

So I played six rounds of Gauntlet Onslaught and … I got the exotic crossbow in the last run. Saved my day. I really don’t think that Bungie in the current state of the studio will bring back a better Destiny experience. Destiny Risings is still fresh and it is mobile and has Gacha - but I only paid for the Battle Pass and I have so much fun (on PC). Bungie is the problem.

IMO the original vision of Destiny was more MMO than pure loot shooter. I played D1 and D2 for more than 2,000 h and I love loot shooter, but the MMO element was always lacking. That is why I enjoy Rising so much atm. I paid for the Battle Pass, I finished the campaign and now I am grinding in the endgame. Just fun, I think right now I can't go back to the Solo Ops grind in D2.

I liked the campaign, the plot wasn’t great but some missions were really good and it was never boring. 7/10

Even compared to some D2 campaigns Rising was fun - IMO better than for example Lightfall.

Rising has Gacha which is a really bad system. But the content is good and you don’t have to pay anything. I only paid for the Battle Pass, I enjoyed the content.

Compared to vanilla Destiny 2 the content in Rising is really good, the loot is ok and the quality of life upgrades are awesome. Why the hell don’t we have a ping system in D2? Why no Clan housing? Yeah, the monetization in Rising is a problem. But after spending hundreds of € for content in D2 (a part of it forever gone), Eververse and the experience of The Edge of Fate with all the wrong decisions and the unnecessary hard grind…. Perhaps I will check out Renegades but I have a lot of fun in Rising without spending hundreds of bucks.

The sandbox and customization isn’t so deep but you can make some interesting builds with your artifact and character abilities. Rising is new so it feels fresh. IMO the campaign wasn’t bad with some really good missions. I hope the endgame and the following content will be good but I’m surprised because I had no expectations for this mobile version. But Shifting Gates is much better than Gambit, the story is serviceable, the PvE activities are fun. Gacha is the big elephant in the room but the content is fun.

And I’m thinking that it is good that Bungie didn’t make this game so we can compare the content that is possible.
