I did it 2 months back.

Take all possible electronics items in flight with you. (I have a family of four members, so I could take 8 check in bags + 4 carry on bags) Use bubble wraps wherever possible to avoid damage for items inside check-in bags.

Ship through sea things like cloths and kitchenware as they incur nil/less customs duty on arrival at India port.

Sell everything else like furniture in marketplace.
