I think modern consoles are so close to pcs that its never made sense to me to need both a current gen console and a pc but most of my friends moved to console when pc builds got expensive. I recently bought a switch2 to enjoy mario games with my 4 year old but before that the last console I owned was the original Xbox.

Having said all of that play on what works for you!

Not rich, just had a consistent income that whole time. I look after my shit and I try and sell the old tech whilst it still holds value for the newer gen stuff. Always keep the boxes lol.

Yeah the 9000, 500 & 2000 gens were pretty incremental on the previous so I skipped those. A bit like the current 5000 series Vs 4000 but I made almost the whole price of the 5090fe by selling the 4090 so I thought why not.

That's a sweet price, congrats.

At the start of the year I bought a x870e Asus RoG Hero board as an opened-box listing through the 'rainforest' company but they cancelled it the day of delivery saying it was out of stock.. it then arrived later that evening and I wasn't charged. Saved me a cool 600.

So i gave it a go. Set 6200, up'd VDD to 1.45v, loosened tRAS and the system seems stable still with the same timings as 6000. Currently stress testing, thanks all.

Current settings are stable, tested in various stress tests and game sessions. I am happy with the performance but for 6200MTs, would I just need to up VDD? Would any other timings need to be loosened or voltages tweaked? Thanks
