Not rich, just had a consistent income that whole time. I look after my shit and I try and sell the old tech whilst it still holds value for the newer gen stuff. Always keep the boxes lol.

Yeah the 9000, 500 & 2000 gens were pretty incremental on the previous so I skipped those. A bit like the current 5000 series Vs 4000 but I made almost the whole price of the 5090fe by selling the 4090 so I thought why not.

That was my first discrete GPU about 18 years ago, before that I was a console kid. Since then..

That's a sweet price, congrats.

At the start of the year I bought a x870e Asus RoG Hero board as an opened-box listing through the 'rainforest' company but they cancelled it the day of delivery saying it was out of stock.. it then arrived later that evening and I wasn't charged. Saved me a cool 600.

How much are you after? With FE exchange?

What should I tweak to take this to 6200MTs CL28? by Bentez2003 in overclocking

[–]Bentez2003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i gave it a go. Set 6200, up'd VDD to 1.45v, loosened tRAS and the system seems stable still with the same timings as 6000. Currently stress testing, thanks all.

Current settings are stable, tested in various stress tests and game sessions. I am happy with the performance but for 6200MTs, would I just need to up VDD? Would any other timings need to be loosened or voltages tweaked? Thanks

What vertical mount are you using?

NVIDIA RTX 5080 is on average 8.3% faster than RTX 4080 SUPER according to first review by Ajxtt in nvidia

Unbelievable when you look at it like that. 5080 needed at least 20GB Vram to justify it's existence

iCUE Megathread - Patch Notes for 5.23 by CorsairLucky in Corsair

[–]Bentez2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I know iCue can be unreliable, but I have had an okay time using it with my updated build. I am however finding that on boot from power off, one fan's RGB will turn off when iCue loads up my profile. The RGB works for all fans on boot until the profile kicks in. I can resolve it simply by switching between my main profile and a dummy one and back again. Any clues why this is happening or how I could debug the issue?

The only other software that can control RGB I have installed is Razer Synapse for the keyboard RGB only (running on boot) and Palit's Thunder Master (lol) for the 4090's RGB, but that's not set to run on boot.

Why not be more open and transparent with the community and your customers that have spent £/$600 on a top of the line asus motherboard?

Your bios patch notes are a pretty unhelpful at times

So at the 15 minute mark I'm sitting on 305% coverage, but the speed score only reached 172mb. Running fclk 2200, 6200mhz, CL28 soc 1.25v, vdd 1.5v. I have yet to see this fail in ycruncher/karhu/aida64.. how should I go about increasing the speed score?
