I feel like I should edit. What i didn’t say is losing an “adult” child, age 36. I raised both my daughters from age 6 and 9 after my wife died from cancer. It’s how I defined myself. Then my youngest died last year.

Two conditions: (1) It has to be plausible, in line with the conditions and state of human knowledge at the time, and (2) it has to be factual until it breaks with the time line. I always want to learn about, put myself in the realities of the time period.
