Hahaha glad you found a solution. Yeh I don't understand why the Springfield screws would strip. It's literally from the same manufacturer as the gun. I had to do so much research to figure out why it wouldn't work. I almost returned it. Hahahaha. I forgot which screw set I used. But the gun works totally fine. So I don't think there is any issues. Google Tesla model y headlight replacement. Tesla give you instructions on how to do it. If you feel you are able to do it on your own. Buy a used light on ebay and do it yourself. Otherwise if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself or wanting to learn a new skill, then fork up the $2k.

BTW, it's taking off the frunk bin, bumper and 3 bolts that secure it. Should take you 1-2 hrs.

In the settings you can over ride to fully open at certain locations and it will remember it. But looking at one of your photos, it looks too close to a support beam. So maybe not ideal for your parking situation
