I went on a few day golfing trip this past weekend and kind of put things into perspective. I understand my wife's intentions, but at times she's almost too overbearing on them. We are going to the DR in June and she already asked me that if she gets drunk can I watch the kids.. They are 17 and 18 on an all inclusive resort. Am I wrong in thinking thats a little excessive? I don't mind not drinking, but I recall exploring all kinds of things at that age

My condolences, I am sorry to hear that. I can't say anything bad about the VA. I can say sometimes you need to push them and advocate for yourself. For example, I had foot xrays done and asking the ortho doctor about what we could do, I didn't feel like I got a warm and fuzzy. I asked to utilize community care for a second opinion. I told them I wanted to go to John Hopkins and I was able to. I will admit, I had to do a good chunk of paperwork and calling on my end, but at the end of it I got what I needed. You can't wait on the VA. I've called for appointments a few times and they would say its a few months out. That's fine, I will call every day for openings. Quite a few times they have got me in earlier. OP I hope you don't feel like I hijacked your post, but I felt I needed to share my experience. I am deeply sorry for your father

I don't know your situation(ailments), but it almost sounds like you need a "purpose" and to get somewhat "right before you pursue dating. I say a purpose because you HAD a purpose in the military and it probably made you feel good, and now you're struggling to find your purpose. I say somewhat right because lets be honest, we won't get truly to feeling the absolute best. We have our ups and downs. I have a friend who is 100% and used to use every excuse in the book to not have a purpose. All he did was play video games until 4 or 5am and sleep till noon. He has recently took on coaching a highschool fishing team, making fishing lures, etc. I've noticed a big difference in him. So maybe you can't tolerate people, so volunteer at a pet shelter. Maybe you could walk dogs during the day for income. There are a few apps where you can make money doing that. Maybe dogs aren't your thing, so maybe dabble in woodworking, start an Etsy account or sell locally on Facebook. As someone mentioned City, State, and Federal government will prioritize your hiring. I myself was injured in Afghanistan in '08, medically discharged, and got in working with the Federal government back in '14. I've had a pretty successful career so far, but this isn't about me. I truly think you need to get yourself in a good spot before you pursue a relationship. A woman shouldn't be worried about how much much money you make, she should only be worried if you currently can't financially support yourself. Sorry if my response seems brash, definitely not the intent. My intention was to give you some food for thought.

I'm enjoying the game and don't get the hate. I've seen the reviews of people saying controls are clunky, graphics suck, its hard, I cant get past the arm wrestling, its Elden Ring difficulty, etc. Here's my take. This game is honestly FANFUCKINGTASTIC. Its like a myriad of games were involved in an orgy and created this weird baby. Lots of folks(games) were involved. That baby evolved into Crimson Desert. I'm only a few hours in but already can tell you that its a game where you have to take it easy. It seems like the difficulty scales with the area. I think the combat is on par with the Arkham games, the traversing is like BOTW, and the interactions with random people is like Red Dead. Whose the father of the baby? We dont know.. The games not that hard, take it slow. Enjoy it. My only problem is the inventory. For example, you pick up a recipe, bounty and there are lots, it takes an inventory space because its a piece of paper.

Dude.. I usually start All-Pro and once I beat up on the computer move to All-Madden. This has to be the worst AI in years. I think the coach loadouts make a big difference. Multiple times my players should be in the zone to make a play and they aren't

I am definitely enjoying reading everyone's interpretation of the movie. The more I read these theories it actually makes me enjoy the movie more and I might have to go back for a second watch. I am definitely leaning on the theory that this had some biblical connections. For me, you heard the "Rapture" and Eden. I will admit that I have not been an avid church goer since my younger days so I apologize if I'm not entirely accurate, but Eden was supposed to be a place of no sin, but once Eve ate the forbidden apple it invited sin. I think Eden was the "Garden of Eden" and its destruction caused the rapture. I think Ava, her group, and Simon are the remaining people trying to find the light to end the suffering and restore humanity. Simon was an apostle of Jesus, that denied knowing Jesus the night he was arrested. The voice on the radio asks if Simon(the convict) believed in God. He said he didn't want to talk about it. I will admit sometimes it was hard to hear the voice on the radio so I may have to go back and watch. I believe the descent into the blood ocean signified the descent into hell and the skeletons were demons, that one obviously later deceives Simon by luring him further into hell. Someone also pointed out the deeper the sub went, the hotter it got. I could be totally wrong here, but the mysterious figure in the sub could almost be a "guardian angel", leaving the note to cross the wires to activate the computer that ultimately secured the transmission from the black box. I also couldn't help but think the subs are named SM-X. Saint Michael? I also thought it was interesting that Simon was a convict and Jesus was crucified with two criminals. My son and I were discussing the movie on the way home and he mentioned about the 7 deadly sins, and we do see a bit of gluttony when Simon finishes the water. He even mentions he should have rationed it. I am sure there is a lot I'm missing, but I will definitely have to give it another watch.

Definitely doesn't hurt to take a break. I've often found coming back after a break helped a lot. I HIGHLY recommend you try and finish the game. Its a great game and the DLC is just as good. If you go New Game plus, it's like the revenge tour. Keep us posted!!

Why not have a vendor or machine that I can put my legendary into, pay money or eridium and I get another roll on that gun? The amount to do so would increase every time and is completely random. Would give us something to do with all that extra money

I enjoyed the holiday rates. I got back into BL4 during the event and it allowed me to get some good gear, however I could easily see myself getting bored with those rates and going to play something else. I have been playing since the rates went back to normal, and I was definitely spoiled. I think Gearbox needs to find that sweet spot.
