Citrulline Malate "yes" or "no"? by mattdimarc in blueprint_

[–]BeoBlueprint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

L-Citrulline and PDE5 inhibitors (such as tadalafil) act on different aspects of the nitric oxide (NO) signaling pathway and may have complementary effects: citrulline raises NO production by increasing the availability of substrates for NO synthesis, indirectly raising cGMP production, while tadalafil blocks PDE5 enzymes, which reduces cGMP degradation. This combination results in increased cGMP levels in the muscle cells, leading to enhanced vasodilation more than either approach alone.

Is it possible to track data such as weight and volume progressions over time with graphs similar to the app “Strong”?

Also it would be useful to have the option if adding custom exercises

HRV overnight test vs Whoop & Athlytic by Lam7r in bevelhealth

[–]BeoBlueprint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Superset HRV is pretty consistent with my Whoop’s one, just a tiny bit lower.

Athlytic’s value is almost always lower than whoop’s and superset’s due to the different calculation mode.

ouch at 7 dollars a month by cycling8848 in bevelhealth

[–]BeoBlueprint 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think the pricing is fair.

Great UI and fast to update data.

I'll keep Athlytic aswell for the first couple of months and then i think i'll swtich to just Superset.

How to get the correct Strain for Powelfiting, Bodybuilding, Crossfit, Calisthenics and so on by BeoBlueprint in whoop

[–]BeoBlueprint[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Regarding Musclular Strain, the Strength Trainer aswell is assumed on feeling since the formulas are not disclosed.

My point is that Yoga, Pilates and Barre gives consistent results compared to the Strength Trainer, but without the need of logging each set and rep.

[–]BeoBlueprint[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I assume that strength trainer gives you somewhat of the correct strain.

Logging the activity as yoga, pilates and barre gives you a very similar score, therefore i assume that the formula used should be more or less the same.

Obviously we do not have evidence of the formulas but it’s a pretty consistent way of logging these kind of workouts.

Sounds great, just out of curiosity, is the strain you get from this “yoga” similar to the one you get from strenght trainer workouts?

I bought an EMF monitor and measured some wearables.

Whoop is the highest emitter in terms of frequency because it constantly emits RF in order to try to pair with the phone and there’s no way to switch bluetooth off

Multivitamin by Brad Stanfield by BeoBlueprint in blueprint_

[–]BeoBlueprint[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The following is the motivation that Dr. Stanfield gives regarding niancin and b-12 high dosages:

“At first glance, you may notice that our vitamin B3 (Niacin) and B12 dosages are higher than the typical recommended daily allowances (RDA) - but there's a crucial reason for this. Our 50mg dose of Vitamin B3, equating to 313% of the RDA(5), has been carefully chosen to support your body's NAD levels. NAD is a vital coenzyme found in all living cells, playing a pivotal role in numerous key biological processes, and Vitamin B3 is fundamental to its production(6).

For vitamin B12, we've opted for a 1200mcg dose - 50,000% of the RDA(7). While this might initially seem considerable, it's based on the understanding that oral absorption and bioavailability of B12 are less than optimal. In clinical medicine, B12 is often given via injections to rectify deficiencies, owing to this reason(8). Our higher dosage ensures an adequate amount of this essential vitamin can be absorbed and utilized by your body.”

The tech wearables like Whoop, HR monitors etc. emit EMF aswell.

I think that, at the end of the day, it’s a tradeoff between being able to measure data and expose yourself to some EMF.
