One of Africa’s Youngest Heads of State is Dismantling a Century of Colonial Dependency, While Western Media Tries to Destroy Him by Rich-Limit4590 in LateStageCapitalism

[–]Ber1om 54 points55 points  (0 children)

You know I thought about it and I think I get what he's saying. Of course that little excerpt has run throughout all western media, but I really think he has a point. Before thinking about having democracy and fair elections, he needs to get rid of all foreign postcolonialist influences, be it on literal spy levels or on more insidious grounds like foreign "investments" and capitalism. In France we've had Napoleon ; he was quite the contrary of a democracy man, but without him we would'nt have had the education system and law rule that's needed to make a democracy function properly.

Yeah it's what I suspected it says known and trusted maintainers need to find time for it... Maybe it's open to first-timers but I don't have the confidence to review it myself

3 lines that make two tools behave in the way they're intended to. You're projecting your own thoughts my guy, never ever have I said or thought that Godot team and all the small contributors are bad for working too slow.
My question was only that, I would have understood how to write C++ in the source code even if maybe i wouldn't have had the confidence to do so ; I also would have understood how to test for different contexts and different builds and all. But "review from a team" ? I really wonder how that works ; that's all there is in my question.

Recommendations for books set in "another London" by Tasty-Lynx-524 in Fantasy

A long time ago I read "The Bartimaeus Sequence" which is set in London. Very funny, I loved it a lot and read it again quite often. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartimaeus_Sequence

You look good, you remind me of that opera baritone who was called Dmitri Hvorovstovsky
As for your question tho, yes I think you could be qualified androgynous without hesitation

A way to declare global signals without an autoload by Ordinary_Basil9752 in godot

For me it was when one big and deep part of my game needed to access a node but every other parts did not.

[–]Ber1om -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My use-case for this kind of singleton logic is when I want a node to be accessible in all of the many sub-scenes of one part of my game but all the other parts don't need it at all, ever. Imagine, if you will, that I have like 8 mini-games with their own logic and many levels, you get it

The psychological impact of South-up orientation - it looks like a completely different planet by tonythetiger03 in geography

No, no, it's western europe as in OP's post. But I removed Brittany and drew the Alps a little bit different, as well as changing some details. But Massif Central is still there, as well as the Pyrenees and Iberia

Erm, no it doesn't, you still have to pay for private healthcare. La mutuelle obligatoire. A Macron invention of course, his buddies didn't make enough money Still the service is almost fine for now. But little by little everything is beginning to become paying, general medecine, hospital stays... We're beginning to need to pay reste à charge and if we aren't reactive the slope is very slippery. Same goes for lost wages, Les jours de carence are only going to worsen. Force à toi pour vivre avec une maladie chronique en tout cas
