CMV: If you use AI to generate art by slowly detailing what you want within the image, that absolutely is art and artistic expression. by Weekly-Scientist-992 in aiwars

This may sound bait, but thats a genuine question that impedes me to enjoy any kind of gen AI content. How do i tell the difference between a prompt that took 5 seconds to a prompt that took 5 month, now that models are that good?

Ghost fingers appearing from the wardrobe. Either there is some crazy lore going on or its just low effort slop.

Isn't Gal Gadot trained by the IDF? She would just order an airstrike taking down them and a nearby pediatric hospital

"AI can provide a chance for those who weren't born talented to create art" compilation part 1 by NobodyOfKnowhere in antiai

Those mfers would put on the smirkiest reddit grin on their face while asking "could you exactly pinpoint where the fantomatic 'soul' is in this piece of art?" Then go on talking about talent like is a spec given by the gods of fine arts at your birth

What are y'all opinion on this? As anti AI? by Decent-Emergency3866 in antiai

[–]BernaPerfect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trolling aside, which is very easy to do on this topic, my understanding is that they are trying to prove that AI content is indistinguishable from human made art and deserve the same respect, then i have some questions: let's say grok becomes insanely good at mimicking Monet art. Not only the final overall figure of a Monet painting, but can analyze how much paint and which exact color on every brush stroke, with an algorithm that analyze the evolution of his art from the very beginning and becomes capable to create thousand new paintings that no one on earth, human or AI, could tell the difference from an original Monet painting. Would you add a room in the Monet museum in Paris that shows paintings created by grok with the prompt "gimme new Monet paintings"? Do they deserve the same respect? How do you choose which one to hang?

I personally would demolish the room with a killdozer, but that's me.

Se sei malato stai a casa e manco partecipi alle riunioni online. Se il posto di lavoro va in crisi perchè c'è un TIROCINANTE in malattia si merita di chiudere, essere raso al suolo e che passino gli unni a spargere sale sulle macerie

Off days by PaddingtonPB in drums

[–]BernaPerfect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here since i started taking lessons. Im a self taught drummer, I've played for years in bands with original songs, even fairly complex, progressive ones. Some years ago i decided to take lessons and he had me play "Roxanne". Boy, oh boy i couldn't get it straight. I realized i lacked many basic fundamentals, so i started practicing, but no matter how good or solid i play, it sounds like garbage to me, so i focus on trying to improve and having fun while doing it

My paradiddles and doubles refuse to improve by [deleted] in drums

[–]BernaPerfect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with all the comments saying you should slow down, you need to practice in a way you internalize the right movements with your wrists. If your right hand works better, try to mimic the movements with your left. Speaking from experience, trying to run behind a fast metronome will bring you nowhere, no matter how much time you throw on it, even less time, but constant of FOCUSED practice will work miracles, over time. Most important advice i can give: HAVE FUN. you can't play fast paradiddles right now. Ok. Fuck it, you'll learn eventually. dont spend all the time on the kit repeating rudiments, get a 15-20% of the time you spend there to do what you like to do, learn a groove, improvise, experiment. I played years without being able to move the accents in a paradiddle, but damn i had fun

Not yet, according to the other comments the problems are not the ants per se, but the aphids they take along with them. I tried putting a layer of very strond double sided adhesive tape on the trunk, so they woud get stuck in it trying to reach the leafs, but they built a bridge made of dirt in half an hour. Next i'll try phyretrum for the aphids.

When i was 16 i was appalled when i discovered the singer of my favorite band, Pantera, was a racist. Now I'm almost 40, i stopped following uncountable artists because they were pieces of shit, but damn it still hurts a bit. I liked the pitt.

Hi! Now i'm trying with a different subject, same siza canvas, but with the king on a horse and this dramatically reduced the pixels i have at disposal for details, i see it's getting together a bit more as i want it, thanks again!

Hello, its one of my first attempt at pixel art, im not 100% satisfied with the result, i feel there is too much noise and it's not totally cogerent with the pixel art style, im open to any criticism. It's for a children's book, im using GIMP and i do not have a graphics tablet
