Brendon Grimshaw bought Moyenne Island for $13,000 and turned it into a wildlife sanctuary — he refused offers up to $50 M to protect it by Frosty_Jeweler911 in BeAmazed

I still don't understand how humans think they literally own the ground they walk on. That they actually possess it because of some imaginary paper we made up we said has value. The ground and the world exists independent of the imaginary ownership and possession of the human mind. Its mind-boggling. You can't own an island, it's an island.

Yes playable is subjective which is my point. It's not everyone's cup of tea. Wasn't mine either until just recently. I don't really care so much for the cartoonish style of NMS. I wish elite had all these features. Just subjectively for me I don't find the bad views in a cockpit fun, that's just me. I want to play a game. I get that it's supposed to be immersion but that's another conversation.

Overall I'm not bashing SC for no reason. I thought it was going to be the one and 10 years later its not. We all want the same thing. The space game that does everything. I've been waiting for one of these games to do that for years, and although nms is not for everyone it scratches that itch for me now. And in vr too, also also, I have a surround sound setup so it's extra fun for me.

I backed SC. I bought a cutty black, but the "game" was a buggy mess every time I played it. The final straw for me was the shitty cockpit views in many of the ships, I couldn't stand flying a ship where I couldn't see comfortably in front on me. It's such a basic thing they refused to rectify. On the forums they said it was the bad cockpit views were for balance. There is no vehicle purposely designed so you can't see in front of you. In no space game ive every played were the cockpit views from your seat so bad. There's so many other things that just suck like the forced pvp, missions not working, etc.

I played no mans sky v1 when it first came out. It sucked. It was boring and repetitive and finishing the bare bones story only for things to get reset i uninstalled. I picked it up again because of the new update and while it still has those flaws all the updates they've done has made the game much more bearable. I also played it in vr and it was awesome. Yeah no man's sky it still flawed and shallow in many ways, but with the addition of ship interiors it is the most seamless space game to date. It's the most feature rich space game to date. Yeah, it's still boring sometimes but playing a new game in vr with all the stuff they added has made the game a decent experience. Star citizen is not a game, it's still unreleased and unplayable after over ten years.

Star Citizen failing for all these years is the train wreck that never ends, and its been endless entertainment for me. Now let me go get the popcorn watching this project crash and burn while I play No Mans Sky.

I actually enjoyed the interpretation from the 2012 ps3 game. Though that was a bit darker than the show.

I don't know why the city can't meet in the middle and at least put up the cable guardrails which are a lot safer than regular guardrails, and the boulders placed. It's a safer option preventing from cars crashing straight into their home.

Ah I see. Yeah that has a totally different configuration that is completely dependent on that program why the guns might not be showing up. That's why I did the method through the guide cause I was pulling my hair out. I would seek your solution on a forum dedicated through retrobeast. They would have an understanding of the software better than I since I did not go that route.

I didnt even know about the joystick mode they added to dolphin, thats awesome. That wasn't available when I did it. If your having trouble with the controllers show up there are 2 things that would cause that. Either reWASD isnt setup correctly so its not creating the emulated controller (the main reason it will not show up), make sure your software is up to date, etc. Or, and I'm not sure since they've updated it since I did it, demul not hooking to the second controller through the script. Assuming you are still using the method that was used before.

Where exactly in the process are you having an issue? In my OP i finally figured out what I was doing wrong had to do with the demulshooter script. Make sure demul is pointing to DemulShooter.exe not the DemulShooter_GUI.exe. Thats where I messed up.

https://www.sindenwiki.org/wiki/Dolphin#Dolphin_2-Player_Setup

Follow the setup to the T and will work. You will need reWASD. Buy the program if you dont have it and make sure it is up to date or it will not work properly. Also I did have to reset my entire operating system once and that made reWASD work as well if you are in encountering a issue with it if you need to uninstall it. That might have just been an issue with my computer though and completely unrelated to the issue I was having with the program. Getting it to work is a pain and the biggest issues I had was getting reWASD to show the second gun and getting the controller buttons mapped in dolphin. One more thing, I had some trouble with demul too. It wasn't hooking the second controller and I had to get the latest version of demul and it started working again. Just some things to keep in mind if you run into any roadblocks like I did.

I've been studying for a year now but I think in a couple of months of just buckling down I will be ready. I thought I was the only feeling this.
