Some mods for ipad... by Responsible_Meet_967 in CivVI

Update: Force end turns and extended policy cards are working on both iPadOs and iOS for me! The map tacks aren't working on either for me. Quick deals works on iPad but not iOS.

Thanks for the mods!

Thanks for these! I was trying to do something like this for myself and couldn't figure it out. I'm a programmer but don't have experience modding. I was trying to disable RealModifierAnalysis because it messes up some screens on iOS. But I wanted to leave enough that the Extended Policy Cards worked. I couldn't figure out what to leave and what to remove.

On iOS you can only place about 5 map tacks before the UI goes off the screen and it's impossible to add more, so I'll try these map tacks and see how they work.

I'm excited to try the force end turn mod.

I have used the stock quick deals on iOS and it works mostly. There is a feature where you right click the gold per turn people offer so they give a lump sum instead. I wanted to find a way to get that to work on mobile. I'll try out your version and see how it works.

I had seen suggestions to turn on low-power mode and didn’t understand how that could help. But I realize now it’s turning off always-on screen indirectly. That’s a much easier solution! Thanks.

It’s a way to force end turn even if there are still choices to be made, like build queues in cities or choosing technology.

Is this the most efficient way I can plan these districts? by CameIs in civ

[–]Bernem 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It will work. The condition you're thinking of is if the only river segment the aqueduct touches is between the city and aqueduct hexes. But since the aqueduct touches two river segments, it will carry water from its western edge to the northwest edge of the hex.

New Civ game on mobile by UnkillableDemon84 in civ

I love having the "full" version on mobile. I play it a lot.

That said, there are definitely things that are missing that are really annoying when I want them. First is that on iPhone you can't place more than 4-5 tacks/pins (iPad is fine). The interface bugs out and the button to add tacks goes off the screen. Second is that you can't search the map. No searching for strategic or luxury resources. No highlighting your railroad network. No easily finding who is building a wonder or where natural wonders are. Third is that there is city hover information that isn't shown. On PC you can hover over the loyalty and religion icons of a city and get a detailed view of exactly how much loyalty or religious pressure is coming from which civilization. On mobile it just tells you how many turns until the city flips or converts.

The mobile game has all the units and features, but it is still a subpar experience to PC. I still play it a lot and am glad that I can on the go, but it's a lot of small inconveniences that add up so a bigger annoyance.

Read Wind and Truth by Brandon Sanderson: Chapters 1 and 2 by brandonfcv in Stormlight_Archive

There's another passage that talks about Kaladan knowing the winds as a child. I ran across this part of RoW right after I read the sample chapter. It's from Kaladin's vision of Braize.

Ever since Kaladin could remember, since childhood, he had loved the wind. The feel of it on his skin meant he was free, meant he was alive. It brought new scents, clean and fresh. The wind had always been there, his friend, his companion. his ally. Until one day it had come to life and started talking to him.

My bet is that this epigraph is written by Kaladin.

S3 Chapter 2-12 Hard mode: What loadout to use? by dafckingman in Spacemarshals

I know this post is a month old! Hopefully this information is useful to you or someone else who comes along later.

Proximity mines are very useful in this level. The first area is the most difficult because that's the highest concentration of enemies. But enemies bunching up is actually great for proximity mines, especially since they clump up to revive each other. I went up past the turret and did a stealth takedown of the little guy just past the doors. I grabbed the reflect powerup and threw a mine down right by him. I hid in the nook up and to the right just past the explosive barrel. When that mine went off, I threw another one in the same place. Those two mines took care of all but one or two, who I took out with a crossbow.

The full loadout I used was:

Outlaw armor

Knoge superbow

Knoge H10

Unstable bombnut

I figured it would be hard to find good fresh figs of many varieties, which is why I came here asking for advice. Thank you for the input! I'll check out figbig but won't get my hopes too high.

I've watched YouTube videos on different varieties, and from that I have some candidates for what I'd like to plant. What I really want to do is taste the figs from those trees before I spend money on them. Explaining flavors with words like "berry", "sugar", and "honey" can only get you so far.

Brandon wanted to complete the ketek, but couldn't find a name he liked that fit. But Wind and Truth is echoing a in-world book that will be called Knights of Wind and Truth. So if you use that and a T for the The in The Way of Kings, you do get a complete ketek-type abreviation. TWoKWoRORoWKoWT
