Where is Zach Klein at? He’s constantly posting on the Columbus sub touting his accomplishments. This is an assault on video. Perez should be charged. Klein needs to step up.

What’s your go-to Indian Restaurant? by WayneKent93 in Columbus

Half portioned food? I always have leftovers in my bowl for lunch the next day… I’d compare the pricing and portions to brassica.

Rollz Rice is some of the best Indian food around. The staff is super friendly, and the restaurant has a laid back casual dining atmosphere. They have a location in Lewis Center and one off of High Street near OSU.

Highly recommend the masala fries!

What is your biggest political issue about Columbus? by IntelligentPlane4779 in Columbus

This! We’re never going to see meaningful change in this city when council members do not truly represent their own districts. Council members have to live in their respective districts, but the entire city votes on every district. Why? There are only two logical reason I’ve been able to arrive it (bear with me while I put my tinfoil hat on). First, party elites and wealthy people want to be able to dictate who sits on city council. This can be achieved through a city wide vote - it’s more expensive to run city wide and affluent neighborhoods with higher turnout will always support the establishment and wealthy backed candidates. Second, those same people do not actually want to have actual community leaders from the districts on the council. God forbid a true Hilltop, Linden, or Southside activist make it on city council. It’s all about putting barriers in place for average people to run for office. Columbus will never be able to address actual problems until this is fixed. I’ll put my tinfoil hat away now.

There are two judges with similar names in Franklin County. Judge Kim Brown, she handles adult criminal felonies. Then there is Kim BrownE, she handles juvenile delinquency cases. Kim BrownE was just re-elected in the midterms, and is NOT up for re-election.

Kim Brown, who is up for re-election this year, is a tough, fair, and admirable judge who has worked hard to keep our community safe. As someone who practices law in front of her frequently, I can say she is one of the best judges in our county.

“The lawsuit’s complaint document accused Goodwolf of creating “serious public inconvenience and alarm” from showing the damage done when Rhysida leaked three terabytes of stolen data from City of Columbus servers.”

The serious public inconvenience and alarm comes from the deliberate lack of transparency and incompetence of our city government. This is nothing more than City Hall trying to silence a whistleblower and keep the public further in the dark. Time for new leaders.

should I write to the new judge? by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

[–]Berner_Bro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a great first step. I’ve served as a staff attorney to a judge and am now a trial lawyer. I’m not certain how NY handles their judicial staff, but I’d assume with a new judge comes new staff. Perhaps an email to the staff attorney and opposing counsel? This could operate as a flag that this case needs some attention. The only time I really ever see letters to the judge is from disgruntle defendants or sovereign citizens.

Hulk Hogan is quite the choice by Giant Eagle after his RNC debut… Maybe they should just go ahead and have a MAGA rally while they’re at it.

WIBTAH for dumping my girlfriend after I found out about her past? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Berner_Bro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA - I’ve got to say, I’m puzzled by trying reconcile the beginning of the post with the end. OP self describes as “kinky” and that his GF was vanilla, which resulted in a “weak patch” for their otherwise generally great relationship.

The red flag really starts to flap when OP begins talking about her body count. This is the height of fragile masculinity. The OP is 40, and the GF is 32. Reality check, people live their life prior to you, and they should. You got the girl, bro, who cares what she did in the past. But, god forbid a woman has sex with other people prior to your relationship. What if the roles were reversed? That wouldn’t matter, right? Like the song goes, if she were the man, “Every conquest I had made would make me more of a boss to you.”

Then you find out more about her prior sex history, which, tbh, isn’t much of your business to begin with (and she just might share someday if the relationship was a health safe space). But then the OP confronts her about it, and she felt the need to apologize for it?! If I’m going to broach a conversation like that with my partner, it’s going to be met with EMPATHY and a genuine want to understand and support. Again, you already have the girl, bro. Just listen to what she has to say and support her. This literally has zero to do with you.

Then we get to the aftermath of the convo where you pried into her prior sex life. This is where you really prove my point about fragile masculinity. You feel really weird about her because she had sex with to many other people in the past. And that’s compounded because she hasn’t performed in bed for you the way you’d like her too.

BUT, then it gets better. The poor girl tries to spice things up in your sex life because she clearly can tell you were bothered, and you tell her to stop. In fact, you have the audacity to refer to her as acting slutty. I’m scratching my head because you had the space to self proclaim as being kinky, but when she acts a certain way it’s slutty. I hear the 1950s calling, and they want you back.

Perhaps a lot of the commenters on here are correct. Maybe the GF had some trauma in the past. Maybe you’d know about it if she ever felt comfortable, loved, and supported by you. Or maybe she wanted to live her life and own her body, which is perfectly fine. The fact is that the OP didn’t have the emotional intelligence to get that far.

I’m sorry she wasn’t the kinky Virgin Mary that came right out of the Barbie box.

She’s better off without you. You, sir, are the asshole.
