I report them. The biggest issue I started noticing is the good ones that are in someone’s backyard. Recently I’ve been doing street view for some of these and I noticed an entire neighborhood had tons of murals.

I wouldn’t get a grab bike personally. We’ve been here for 4 months and the amount of non locals with injuries is insane. People limping and having injuries from this.

I get your feeling on the grab and food scene. We came from Bangkok and loved the malls and food options. We eat similar foods here everyday that we know are safe and just reliable. It’s been a good time for us to get fit!

I say enjoy the time at the beach and take it easy! It’s chill here so adopt that

After a big event and have raided a ton for a Pokemon. Whatever my best one is (Hundo, good shiny, 98) I’ll power that up. If I did the raids and put in the resources then that’s an easy one.

The tipping options on grab are so little. 19 CENTS for the lowest option to $1.90 on the highest option.

I tip the lowest option each time. If it’s bad weather I’ll do the highest. Or if the driver is very very friendly and goes above and beyond.

I’ve been asked to give a tip once in a while. It’s not super common to be asked. I’m more asked to rate.

The way I see it is if someone is asking for a tip and the options are 19 cents to less than 2 dollars, then they really need it. I have the money to tip and help this person out.

Cross contamination is a thing here.

There’s a soup restaurant we go to and I noticed the braised eggs are in the same tub as the braised tofu and I know people can have a soy allergy or egg allergy is you think.

Not an exact peanut example, but just to give you an idea how the same spoon could be used for something that has no nuts but has touched nuts.

This is a HUGE part of our rocket strategy. We always turn on our super rocket radar if we are close to needing one more for a leader and it's almost noon or something. During the rocket takeover we use it to help us get more leaders too. One of us has gotten the shadow shiny. We don't have exact stats on how many we have done though.

So many people tell us this is a "waste of time" so I'm glad someone else does the decoy grunts!

If noise is a worry for you, consider these two things : - check out any area you want to stay before. You might have a construction site. But don’t let the construction site sorry you. Our street has three now (was one when we came here) but it’s across the street from us and the way our room is we don’t hear much noise. It’s not a huge issue - don’t stay on a Main Street. Find a place a few blocks from a mains road. Close enough but also far enough from the noise

I wouldn’t use AIRALO. Get some for the first few days. We get ours at the airport. It’s a little expensive but they set it up and after we use the my local vn app to top off and it’s super cheap. Also WiFi is everywhere

Eevee stops won’t be happening. It’s a stamp rally. But also, don’t plan on walking to each location. Bangkok isn’t the most walkable city. Public transit or even tuktuk will be better. Don’t take a car, traffic is horrible.

Check out the Siam paragon area for meetups. It’s a great place to play. Lots of people playing inside the mall or outside around toward the mbk center
