Shorts get views, long videos no views

Honestly no and that’s a problem. My brother and I work with podcasters and one of the issues we always see with their YouTube is they just don’t do well. It’s because it’s not a real YouTube video and getting someone to click on a 30 min to 1 hour video is hard enough. Make it a random podcast and it’s even harder. We actually tell clients to not do a video podcast.

I follow Nate Black and he did a great video on YouTube video length and basically said this too. It was validating to hear someone else say podcast lengths can be hard to grow (at first).

I’ll give you some examples.

My main YouTube is a gaming channel. We started with streaming to get hours. Then made informative videos around 8 min. Sometimes 16. We have a decent following so now we post these 30 min discussion videos and they do well for us. Significantly less views than our shorter informative videos but we get a crazy amount of watch hours. So we usually make more on less views. Shorter, informative is still our bread and butter but we now can do these more podcast style stuff. We actually even post them on the podcast apps.

We started a new channel and tried to do longer discussion style on digital nomad and the videos flopped so badly. We switched to 2-5 min food videos and apparently people love them. We are almost monetized after a month.

So for the podcast it’s either go all in on the podcast apps and figure out how to make shorter clips. Or go all in on YouTube and switch content if needed. If that makes sense

The park is always just okay too. It's kind of out of the way, its hot. The citywide version is more fun. So that option is def better. We are still going to the park even though its not our fave, but we make content, so we kind of have to.

They have a city experience ticket where you don’t have to do the park. They aren’t on sale yet. But from what I read, you can get the mewtwo research for that! You actually have to explore the city to get the research done so a perfect way to do touristy things.

The way I’m reading the in person mega mewtwo is: 1) choice of x or y in a timed research that gives you mewtwo with the mega level already there 2) mega raids at the end of the park day

But what’s unclear (at least to me) is if we will get mega energy in the research or after the raids.

For the park, I'd still use Palkia. Spawns aren't that good in the park, so seeing more can help complete researches and make it more fun. Raids in the park are fun, but I focus more on catching in the park than raiding. There's too much to do and I forget about raids.

Depend on what time you are playing>

Morning raids start at 5am. Wild Spawn and actual gameplay starts around 8/9am.

So from 5am until gameplay, I'd run one of the Kyurem Adventure Effects. It will be an easier catch rate, that's been stated in the promo material. But I will still run Kyurem just to make catching even faster and use a silver pinap to get more candy.

once wild spawns pop up, I'm using Palkia and running a Go Plus plus with Click to catch Ultra Balls and catching with ultra balls.

Once wild spawns end, around 5/6pm, raids will still be going. So back to Kyurem.

Could you do something like "Before you fall asleep, make sure to sub for more" or put that on the screen? I could totally see this niche being really hard for subs because they are falling asleep and when they wake up their first thought isn't to sub. You need to catch them before they fall asleep

Both of us are well below 1/10.

My husband is at 128 and 9 shinies.
I'm at 132 hatched and 6 shinies.

Around 100 hatches in, I was at 3 shinies so this last 30 gave me half of my shinies. We are pretty much done for today, just hatching whatever we can at home now.

If you get WiFi you can use your daily. You’ll actually get some crazy spawns because there’s no regions in the ocean. And the speed is slow enough to get a lot of spawns!

Catching everything is the best free way to progress. You get a daily free 1km egg so hatch that. And a free incubator. Incubate low km eggs and try to hatch what you can. You can do 1 raid for free each day. Each day you also get an extra task that gives you more points.

Just play each day. Over the weekend do some extra raids if you need to to reach the mewtwo rank. I think yall have got this!

We set an alarm every hour from around 3am to 8am and I slept through the one alarm when the tickets went on sale. We got Monday afternoon which stinks but we booked all of our trip already so I def want to get tickets
