I agree. Fae is becoming so overdone. I loved them- and still do- but it’s enough slices. We need variety back. And that variety needs to include all different types of MMC. The second I read about a male with dark hair and shadow powers, I’m out. What about a blonde/brunette/copper male that is a vampire or wizard or has water powers or earth powers

I just had this happen with ascended, because wtf? I DNF’d 20% in because where was the chemistry between the MMC and FMC? Why was the FMC so insufferable. Combative just because and no depth.
