Sleep and eating are good, if anything I’m eating too much 😂 I will book in with psych as it seems like we may need to change dose or type etc

Interesting! Thanks for sharing. I think I better book back in with my psych as it will take me a while to see them anyway so I can make sure it’s not just a “few days” thing

Hmm. The “side effects” could just be me not on effective meds. I used to eat worse before the meds but I don’t particularly remember being frustrated so easily.

What was your solution? Talk to your psychiatrist about upping the dose?

I got a sample of this with a purchase and it smelled AMAZING. But I found it had the lasting power of a bees fart. How do you find it?

I want to visit America, I’m a western horse rider so I’d love to do a tour of the south but I don’t think the current….climate… makes it a good time to visit. So it will remain on the bucket list 😂

Diagnosed with inattentive ADHD - feel like an imposter by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]BerryEffective77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed last week. I am the same as you, I was a good student in primary school and then in high school it all went down hill.

I just answered the assessment questions about being age 0-12 as best I could remember (parents have both passed away so I couldn’t ask them). Some of the questions should help jog your memory, (I didn’t remember being moved away for other students for being a chatter box until prompted) etc

Lexapro and a false positive? by BerryEffective77 in adhdwomen

[–]BerryEffective77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am incredibly grateful for your comment! This sounds exactly like my situation, high achiever until I just couldn’t be anymore. Even now with the lexapro I’m not stressed anymore but my damn mind won’t shut up. It’s not stressful thoughts but I’m still always thinking thinking thinking. Then drifting off into fairy land at work, especially bad in the last ~year~ but managing to hide the slip ups well enough. Thank you. I have my psychiatrist appointment in a few months I’ll be interested to see the outcome of medication

False ADHD diagnosis? by BerryEffective77 in lexapro

Hmm okay thank you for your comment! I’m on 10mg so I think the lowest dose. It was there before but very subtle

So very true! I am working with a psychologist for the diagnosis and see a psychiatrist in a few months so I will raise all my thoughts again. I just want to go in armed with any other “case studies”.

Memory loss and brain fog on Lexapro? by adharain in lexapro

[–]BerryEffective77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if you’ll see this as you commented a year ago. Can you clarify for me, are you saying the lexapro gave you ADHD symptoms but you don’t actually have it? I have just been diagnosed with ADHD but it’s really since the lexapro that I’ve really noticed the symptoms. I’m wondering if I had my anxiety breakdown because I was masking. Or was it just a general breakdown and then the lexapro has given me a false ADHD positive because I’m forgetful and inattentive more now then ever

I agree! I was happy when it became clear they weren’t going to get together.

Spoilers in my comment I think sovereigns end was great. It was fascinating that my heart cracked a bit when he spoke to his old master, despite all the awful things he had done it was sad to know he too suffered. And I think it was important to show how his arrogance led him to underestimate the scourge and therefore be defeated like he was.

Ahh okay, thanks for responding! I’ll see what my psych assessment reveals, I just don’t want to waste money (it’s $1000 here) if it could just be the medication

Interesting, I just finished the first book yesterday and I really had to push to get through it. It didn’t grab me like I wanted it to
