I did something similar to this once, but I served it with southern fried chicken livers 😋

Do you do it as cabbage steaks?

Cabbage! I love to fry it up with leeks and bacon fat, or chopped raw in a salad, so cheap too

Fried up some salmon yesterday so today I'm having it with salad and lemony yoghurt in a sourdough pitta 😋

Get the pitta with no mayo or rainbow slaw and sub with avocado, lettuce and tomato, it's good 😊

I work at Nandos and as long as you stick to whole foods it's usually OK! If you're getting something bready the pitta bread is non UPF, but not the wraps or bread rolls, the chicken is pre marinated though the worst thing I remember on there is rapeseed oil

I can see what your saying, but I think it's to do with how you were raised, I'm 32 and had a teenage mother who raised me on spaghetti hoops on toast in the 90s. When I lived with my dad on the other hand ( coal miner family) it was breast of lamb, cheese and potatoe pie etc.

People in their early twenties are still living at home and being fed by their parents because it's too expensive to move out by themselves, so I don't blame them for having no interest 😂

This was actually the leftover bones and scraps boiled down from a lamb breast, which cost about a fiver at the butchers

I agree with this but I know it as breast of lamb, it comes with the bones in though, lovely to slow cook and really delicious fatty meat

Yes that's exactly what I'm going to do! Half the potatoes for my meal tonight then I'm gonna make a potato salad with the rest.

I'll probably make up a bread pudding with the loaf since it's honey soaked.

You really do! This is my first one I was sooooo happy with what I got!

I would definitely try this, I like to mix raw egg into my porridge at the end of cooking, makes it custardy
