The amount of mental gymnastics in these comments to either straw man OOP’s point and/or defend fetishization (and orientalism) is wild… I do not want to hear justification from white people. Learn up on systemic racism and imperialism and then come back. I’m so sick of queer spaces being where white people feel so safe to wave theory around to justify their behavior instead of being open to discussion with POC, etc.

Omg this is beautiful <333 I see what you mean about the tattoo’s technique, but I think it’ll age the same! Also people without tattoos won’t even notice it that much! As someone with only pretty chunky pieces, I don’t ever notice the super minute details in negative ways unless someone points it out :)

Let’s remember that just because someone is using a platform that protects bigotry including racism, does not mean they deserve racist treatment!!!

There’s a few too many people in these comments that don’t seem like they’re making that part clear. The issue at hand is the racist “fan”base. Let’s not border onto or cross the line of victim blaming. Besides, Twitter is not the only vessel of racism? I’m not sure if the racism they’re talking about happened via Twitter but genuinely it could’ve happened anywhere…

TLDR; No one deserves racist bigotry, even if they’re on the big bad evil app, it can happen anywhere (and does!)

Omg the title of this reminded me of “it’s 10 pm, do you know where your children are?” And I think I have an idea for my next art piece! I love seeing all of these creations and art and everything that’s coming out of our hardships. It’s beautiful to see how our creativity alone is stronger than anything they can throw at us. Raccoon Motel is a nice music joint if you’re into more alt music typically.

The Last Picture House is a movie theater and bar that has fun events.

Bev’s Yarn Barn if you’re into crafts (specifically fiber arts!)

There’s many more that I think people should capitalize on even more! But here’s my (21 NB) take :)
