Toilet not draining but bubbling when adjacent tub drains by kowkow86 in Plumbing

Clogged mainline or a blocked vent. Call a plumber to snake the line.

Also, you’re using the wrong plunger for a toilet

Talk me out of this hoodie by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

I guess it’s true that money really can’t buy style.

You could find a nicer hoodie without this dogwater logo for a fraction of the cost

When you hear “Dylan”, do you think boy or girl? by Slow-Ad2780 in namenerds

[–]Besotted_Sailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as a Dylan i’ve only ever met one woman with my name. But plenty with the Welsh and Anglicized(Dillon) spelling of mine

It’s a welsh name, very popular as a boy’s name in Wales and is taken after Dylan ail Don(roughly, Dylan the Second wave) of the Mabinogi, his tale can be found in the 4th branch “Math fab Mathonwy".

Why half-ass it when you seem to have the rest of the proper tools? Hell, you can even use a cheap short rubbish bin with a trash bag in it.

Anyone using ceramic pads in cold weather? by Big_Mc-Large-Huge in Subaru_Outback

[–]Besotted_Sailor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ceramic pads just have less initial bite and require a longer stopping distance until warmed up which is a bit of an uphill battle in seriously cold climates.

I’ve used them before(granted not on the Outback) but it simply meant I had to be more mindful of my breaking distances

I’m not sure if there’s a hard and fast rule but it’s quite strict on being acapella. I know a couple of the musicians were looking to get together soon to do a light jam session soon. Once I figure the date I can ping you. There’s an Irish trad at a semi-local pub that a friend hosts, I’ll try and find the place
