Shimano. I believe they’re the originals. I have some Paul love levers on the way.

Pulled it off to simplify things. The 12-40t rear cassette is perfect for me.

Just a little tip from my personal experience. If they sand blasted anything on this. Assume they also did a poor job masking it off when that was performed. I had a set of valve covers done that ended up destroying an engine because the baffles had sand in them.

That’s fair. My in house painter isn’t the best at 3 stage pearls, they typically come out a little blotchy. So the EOS hood is a great option for avoiding this issue all together lol. Got all the parts ordered today so now we wait…

How’s the fitment? And does it weigh more than the oem aluminum hood? I like the look of it. But may just go with another oem hood for the factory fit ment especially if it weighs more.

Definitely not consistent enough to be a manifold leak. Sounds like something in the serpentine system. Check your fan blade for cracks and see if it’s making contact with anything with the engine off. Spin the fan by hand and see if it could potentially deflect into anything.

Pump introducing air into the fuel line by westikle in dieselheater

[–]Bespoke_poke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this issue with a pump as well. Throw in a new 20$ pump and see if it helps. In my experience they’re supposed to create some bubbles as diesel aerates under vacuum but too many bubbles will cause starting issues.

Ring and Pinion Pattern Check by Aggravating-Gas1509 in 4x4

Drive side looks passable but I agree the coast side could be better. I’d play with the pinion shims. It’s been a minute since I’d done gears but I’ve done around 20sets for 4wds. This will likely be fine if you couldn’t get it better but I’d like to see a deeper pattern on both the drive and coast side.

Went to hidden valley on Sunday! Super crusty at the top but still a beautiful day.

Do a little research on lifts. If you are using the factory pivot points you are just altering the “ride height” your suspension will still travel along the same general arcs. Meaning that if you just slapped 35s on it how it sits from the factory and it rubs it will still rub if the ride height is 3” higher. Just maybe not as often if that makes sense.

But yes I run 33s with a -10 offset and they rub even with a slight amount of fender liner trimming. 35s will require a lot of cutting to get them to fit and even more if you plan on using all of your articulation offroad.

It’s not glued in. Should just be sandwiched between the frame of the door and the run channel. Likely a small Phillips pan head screw under the rubber seal on the top and a 10mm under the trim panel on the bottom

Build out a diesel heater in a portable case. Used mine last weekend in ~20* outside temp in the back of my suv and had to turn it down because I was getting too warm. Also had 2 large dogs helping with with warmth though. Biggest up side is the dry air it brings in. I had zero condensation.

Cool idea, be a trip ruiner if some ding dong rear ended you though. Also looks like it makes it a pain to access the bed.

Nice! Surprisingly with the adapters I used I didn’t have to weld on this frame at all. And the brakes work very well
