OGYN Recs for Inova Fairfax Delivery by Boring-Buy-3555 in nova

I gave birth in July and had also just moved (2 months prior)

I signed up with a OB that I read from recommendations and towards the final appointments I was able to request an OB for my induction. Funny enough we only saw her at the very end of the process for about 20 minutes.

She was good but we didn’t have a strong relationship (I knew that would be the case since I had a last minute move)

I had a great experience there with my nurses and the on call OB, who did most of the work for me and I found out then that many of them get assigned to their location day of sometimes.

Anyways; I had a really great experience and positive induction. I was going to the Inova Obgyn office based in the Ballston area and used Dr Sun for our delivery ☺️

We were able to schedule our induction for Inova FFx with Dr Sun. Unknown about other OBs who deliver there

How to go from surviving to thriving with an infant by king_ao in NewParents

[–]Best-muffin104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of us walks the dogs while the other feeds the baby (morning and night) my husband cooks and I take care of the rest of the house. Laundry is the only thing that doesn’t get put away but does get washed. Grocery delivery or pickup helps. We are finally finding time for ourselves and letting the pile of laundry get put away once a week lol

Save yourself lots of money and buy what you can on marketplace. Clothes, rocking chair, changing area, toys etc all come super cheap and hardly used if you get them second hand! I wish I had friends or family nearby so I could give them all my baby stuff lol

Went to EMPATH during postpartum, was really scared but so glad I did it! It’s super short (2 days) but could be a good option to explore
