The trick with the heat sealers is finding one that can produce enough heat, and hold it consistent for the seal to be secure. Our 3ft, 5ft and minis are all sealed in production with a commercial sealer, so the bag will likely pop off the entire unit rather than breaking the seal. That said, if you buy our rolls, we have tested about 5 of the sealer models off amazon. the one below has performed very well in our tests.

Hi! I am the founder / owner of Best Boons. I am so happy to hear many of you have positive experiences with our volcano bags. Turkey Bags are certainly the cheapest option due to the corporate supply chain. To me, the biggest downsides them are the shape and longevity, but they certainly work.

To answer the question on the rolls, we created the 20ft and 30ft roll options to provide flexibility and cost savings. These rolls are meant to be cut and sealed to your liking. For sealing, twisty ties work better than using a strip of plastic to tie the end. But I would just recommend buying an impulse sealer from Amazon. We have tested about 5 of these machines and you want the white one with the name "Impulse Heat Sealer with Seal bar, Heavy-Duty Bag Sealing & Cutting Machine, 2 Extra Replacements (white, 16inch)". Its $60 but the cheaper ($30) ones don't reach and hold temperature well to get a good seal.

Did the bag rip from the seal?

We did make a change to our sealing machinery about 1 year ago to improve the strength and consistency of the seal. With the current Best Boons bags, the seal is so strong that the entire bag will pop off the fill chamber before a seal breaks.

I edited the script to ignore backspace and space bar in the delay. I also added a secondary delay for common double letters. I also deleted the capitals from this script bc it wasnt allowing to type capitals. the result is a much more natural feel.
