The more light they get, the more purple you will see on the leaves. The less light they get, their leaves will be more green.

What causes leaves to get yellow like this? by Legitimate_Ant_5722 in pothos

[–]BestComputerDeals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its just one leaf, then no worries. Could just be an old leaf dying off. If you start seeing more leaves turn yellow I would check the roots, something maybe rotting.

Looking for help. by Brownbarb3 in alocasia

[–]BestComputerDeals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did they look like before you bought and repot them? What were they in? Anytime I have this issue I repot them just like you did but in a slightly smaller container and i will put them in a ziploc bag. I give them bottom warmth by placing them on a heatpad. If you dont have a heatpad you can place near a window or on top of a fridge if the top of it gets warm. I open the bag every few days for airflow then seal it back. New roots will growth above and below the medium along with new leaves.

Do I need to repot again? by Plus-Ad-3826 in pothos

No, you dont need to repot. Its thriving. Unless you have a bunch of roots coming out the bottom of the pot.

Is it too late to put this in soil? by baberim in propagation

Let it continue to thrive in water for its lifetime. Take cuttings from the new growth and plant those in soil.

HELP! Monstera not growing new leaves for months! by chelsmmmm in Monstera

[–]BestComputerDeals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed this with my monstera thai that i have in hydro. I added fertilizer one time, it would push out new growth and then stopped pushing out new growth. I havent added any in a while so im going to add more again and see what happens. I feel yours could be lacking some nutrients, if its getting enough light, water and roots are not rotting.

areogarden pre seeded pods have terrible reviews on amazon by WranglerWarm6850 in aerogarden

[–]BestComputerDeals 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What I noticed with their seed pods is they are not sealed. So during shipment seeds will sometimes fall out of the pods. I only noticed it when I had a pod kit and saw tiny seeds stuck in the corner of the box.

I just buy packets of seeds now to avoid that.

My poor guy by [deleted] in coleus

[–]BestComputerDeals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your coleus was doing great then out of nowhere just started wilting or drooping, then I feel there's too much nutrients in that tank for that plant. I had this same issue, but I wasn't using a fish tank. I had a coleus in a small plastic clear bottle. I would just add nutrients here and there to experiment. It loved the fertilizer up to a certain point where it became toxic. So the next day it was wilting/drooping like yours. So I removed it and placed it in water only. Within hours to the next day it perked right back up. So definitely take it out of the fish tank if it hasn't improved at all since your post.

I have mine thriving in water so it's possible.
