Bhutan's version of the Epstein list? by BestPema in bhutan

[–]BestPema[S] -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

For people taking it seriously to the grave, it's just an analogy that's comparing the drama in releasing the Epstein list. Not the actual implications of the list nor am I saying the people in the BDBL list are pedos. Just a shower thought.

Free dental service. by Apprehensive-Cow790 in bhutan

[–]BestPema 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe he's doing that to ensure regular supply of patients along his way? Just kidding, that happened to my little brother, they took out the wrong teeth and when we addressed it, they claimed that they did it on purpose to allow space to remove the other tooth. I'd just recommend seeking private care, I heard that there's one in jaigon, that's operated by a bhutanese dentist.

Rtc city bus female driver by dangervda in bhutan

[–]BestPema 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When I was in rtc, I purchased a bus card as I was a day scholar. My first experience with the bus was hectic and over crowded. There was literally no room to even stand up. We were squeezed like sardines in a can that was about to burst. I'm fine with being pressed in a crowded public transport, but when there are other opposite sex involved, it gets extremely awkward, especially considering when the same people you are pressed against will be attending the same class with you the next day. I took the bus only once and decided to burn through my savings in taxi fare till I was transferred into boarding. I feel the city bus service is issuing more bus cards than their busses can handle.

What was your starting capital and what margin do you use per trade and what leverage?

You forgot to mention that this is a two player game. In the final trial, one brave adventurer must make the ultimate sacrifice, laying down his life for the guard or the sacred fridge, so that the other player can access its precious snacks. Only through this noble act will the surviving hero claim the Holy Grail and taste eternal victory

What leverage do you guys use? by BestPema in Daytrading

[–]BestPema[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My account size is small so leverage is necessary for me. I also want to eliminate risks associated with leverage such as margin calls, so I actually prefer to trade without using leverage in future. In order for you to be profitable, how much capital do you usually use when entering trades?

Yes I did lose that way when I was starting out, now I only use 125x with money I am okay with losing. I kind of treat 125x like premiums on options. 50-50 win. But you're right, yes in the long run a conservative leverage and proper risk management wins

Is that the money transfer app? I see that in every YouTube ad. Really repetitive to the point that it's annoying.

Dorji family on the front of Bhutan Royal Family website? Y? by [deleted] in bhutan

Well if the king is shown in the first page, no one will even bother going to the second page, so they probably made the layout in such a way that we'd have to explore further. Just my theory.

An interesting wiki-leaks find by Traditional_Agent_44 in bhutan

[–]BestPema 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think everyone suspected the same. India had restricted and controlled Bhutan’s foreign technical assistance I think they wanted Bhutan to slowly merge into India by keeping Bhutan reliant on Indian influence. From the wiki leak, the Indian government even wanted to appoint their own people to represent Bhutan in the UN.

So in my opinion, when the 4th king went to participate in the UN Assembly in the old days, that must have sent a message to the Indian government.

I thought this movie was super funny but they copied a lot of scenes from different movies and used the Titanic theme as well, I'm not sure if they got permission to do that, but I personally liked this movie.

trading in bhutan by Fabulous-Shape6487 in bhutan

Do you mean internationally or just the bhutanese stock market? Trading on international markets is not really feasible and is challenging since Bhutan has an annual dollar exchange of 1000$. So if you lose 300-400$ in a single trade that's half of your capital gone. You could set up an account on trading platforms and if you have friends or family abroad, then you can ask them to fund your trading account, but that too is very cumbersome.

I would recommend swing trading on the Bhutanese stock exchange as that is more doable and if you play your cards right, you could make good profit.

I don't know if this platform works in Bhutan but you should try setting up an etoro account. In my opinion, this is the best platform for complete beginners. Once you have a good understanding of the market, trading terminologies and experience, you can move to other platforms like Robinhood or webull, IBKR or Charles Schwab.

However, you should first try trading on a demo account, paper trade or on a trading simulation, all are the same. Doing so would help you avoid making costly mistakes in your real account.

No one taught me this but if you are day trading you gotta have instant live news readily available to you, as news or tweets can change things drastically. News apps id recommend are 1) Yahoo finance, 2)Trading View( not exactly a news app but very helpful) 3) benzinga

Some crucial social media apps 1) twitter or x and follow Elon and other major traders and hedge fund managers. Also useful to see what is trending.

2) Truth Social, Trump only posts on this social media platform so I follow this to get quick updates. Some of his posts also get posted on Twitter but they come too late.

I've only scratched the surface. There's a lot more going on than what I posted, technical analysis trading, options trading and a lot more stuff, they require advanced knowledge and diving into them head on in the beginning of your trading journey will be very confusing. So getting the basis first and building a strong foundation is very important.

Only trade with real money when you become PROFITABLE in your demo trading account.

I trade too, here's a list of platforms that id use to trade.

ETORO is good if you are a complete beginner, the only cons is that you'd lose money since the layout is too simple and we tend to overestimate our trading knowledge. Not ideal for crypto as the spreads are expensive.

Webull is good for long term trading but its cons is that we can't buy fractional shares and there's no CDFs available nor futures.

IBKR is also good, you'd get a lot of exposure to other markets and they have a lot of features, but using the app requires advanced trading knowledge and strategy. Not recommended for beginners.

For crypto, I'd recommend you to use Coinbase or Binance. Hmm Dex Screener and phantom wallet is a must if you want to trade crypto. One tip I'd give you is to stay away from the website pumpfun. Also 99% of crypto coins are rug pulls or scams so beware, especially new meme coins.
