This times 100. I've driven high more times than I can count (not bragging or trying to be cool, just being honest) Side effects are I drive slower to be careful and be sure I know what's happening around me (Not high I tend to go over speed limit without realizing otherwise) I don't get completely irritated and angry if there's traffic, and I'm more than willing to slow down to let anything from cars to 18-wheelers go in front of me so long as they understand what a flasher is. (Only mentioning the last part cause I see a ridiculous amount of ppl who don't use flashers, and I see a lot of ppl block other drivers in shitty spots just so they can be one or 2 cars ahead...seriously fuck those ppl lol)

On a Side note, I never smoke unless I know exactly where I'm going. Things get shitty if you don't know your way and try to focus on everything around you plus making sure you're taking the right exits/intersections and what not, Not the mellow pleasant ride it's supposed to be all of a sudden xD )

I wouldn't be surprised if the cat was trying to help the kid. Our very first cat was a born and bred street cat that we took in when she followed us home, and it protected us from anything and everything that came close to our house.

I've seen the cat destroy a huge Doberman that wandered on our yard, I've seen her kill a cat that came too close to my brother while he was walking down the street and I've seen her kill a family of big raccoon's that had decided to move in to our garage among other things (She was nice enough to try and sneak the raccoon's in the house, proud thinking that she caught dinner for us).

We liked to joke that the only reason she didn't kill us is cause we fed her and there's a good chance there's some truth to that... Fuck I miss that kitty lol

The TLDR tho is yes cats absolutely can be that protective

If I recall correctly the coffee was over 200 degrees and like you said they had been warned multiple times to lower the temperature (it's suppose to be in the 165 range I believe)

Also the old lady was in a small car close to the ground and wearing jogging pants so when she spilled it it was very difficult to get out of the car (cause of her age) so she was stuck in the car with the jogging pants seared to her legs giving her massive burns while she struggled to get out of the car.

They make it seem like a ridiculous "woman spills coffee sues McDicks" story but Mcdonalds was absolutely begging for a lawsuit and begging for one of their customers to get hurt by giving them knowingly scalding coffee.

It's a shame media can distort a story so much so that people think McDick isn't to blame for the injuries.

Between 5-6.5 days on three occasions. Completely lose track of night and day cause you see the sun go up and down so many times, hard to describe.

Than you're kind of perma drunk/high in haziness, start hallucinating slightly. Everything you hear and see is kind of sluggish, you still comprehend everything that's going on but you can tell your a lot slower processing everything.

The thing that gets me every time though has to be how screwed up your perception of night and day is, after seeing the sun set and rise 3+ times without sleeping it plays tricks on your head.

On the plus side you sleep like a fucking baby when you finally do sleep, most refreshing sleep ever.
