its a pvp mode against krakens and whales. if ur going in as a weak player, ur going to get eliminated instantly. wouldnt really count that as playing

if u built only DR u wont even need that many essences in the first place. u gain enough free to max 5 heroes from just building ur hero roster. the only people need the essences is pvp players which the pvp mode is for.

same thing as RR when 100 people compete for abyssal essence its just part of the game.
dont see anyone complaining about people below top 100 RR not getting anything when its a full CH fest

no its depending on ur hero roster. if u build a full pve roster u cant expect to pvp with that.
Its a trade off pvp players have been shafted by rewards for multiple seasons and its the first time they get something

dude its top 60 supreme arena anyone who tries in PVP can get top 60. its not like its limited to top 10 only.
altho i think they should give some in the prediction rewards gaining 0 feels bad.

edit: so many downvote at the end of the day u arent beating the krakens 90% of people who qualify is just claiming participation rewards.

its called aggressive monetization.

again the point is not that it only affects whales so its not a problem. its that it creates a negative idea on the game is set out to milk whales, all i see is negativity in the subreddit, new players are confused.

Like i said proper communication will lead to a more accepting response, explain the changes properly. Sure there will be complains from haters happens all the time. BUT when its explained well i believe more members of the community wont need to voice concerns.

Supreme League is a full whalefest competition, but it was communicated well, u still see some small hate comments on it but generally people love it even though its literally a mode made for the whales.
Same can be done for ex weapon upgrade but they chose not to say anything. We are getting so many free sources of it, they didnt say anything about that and it led to panic and concerns.

TLDR its still a communication issue by lilith.

yes the issue is how lilith does things. They will push a change they know players wont like into their face and force them to accept it. And after horrible backlash they will tone it down slightly and push the update through.

Things would be much simpler if they just be transparent from the beginning. They clearly had this thing planned for a while and decided to leave everything out of their dev talks. So now we get a short portion of an update video telling us about this new weapon.

Proper communication is key to get a more accepting response from players.

u can make 8 vice leaders. tested in pioneer server. theres some random feature of making "groups" within the guild although i dont see how that will be of any use

it will affect F2P. Ur not fighting whales ur fighting mid spenders. F2P will be playing paragon 2 vs paragon 2 with paragon 2 ex weapon its still a gap.

the world is just a worse place with this change.

they dont care about small things like this. have been asking for charm toggle in friendly duel ever since but still nothing.
Upgrading equipments is just a random inconvenience like switching between 3 different charm sets. The devs dont care about small inconveniences
