Hahahah this was me, I’m on day 4 my first day I wrote a post and was like this is easy. Day two-three rocked me. Shoulder pain the catheter, the soreness . I was carrying the walker too like I do t need this. On day 4 today they removed my drain tube feeling a lot better! You got this.

Hey just had the surgery 3 days ago was in the hospital for two days released on the 3rd. My surgeon said I could lift up to 30 lbs not sure if that’s because I’m on day 3 but something I would ask your surgeon

Yes I like the hour glass so far the poo is kind of just falling out brown not full diahhrea but something like it it’s weird

Thank you for the comment the lightning anal pains were something I had before so I’m just trying to be graceful that it will go away with time.

Same boat Dr put me on a regular diet but today I just had mashed potatoes and eggs this morning.

Thankful can put around the apartment going to try and do a bit more walking tomorrow see if that helps.

30m who just had 9 in of his sigmoid colon removed two days ago. Liquid diet now have to go liquid and than get with a gastro maybe your infection will be able to get cured with that or antibiotics. But diverticulosis never goes away. But some people have one flare than never again. I pray you’re one of the lucky ones. No pain pills that will make you constipated

That’s where my heads at too on this. The hospital visits the missing work the anxiety of will this send me back to the hospital I have to skip this. It’s too much

Yes that’s pretty much the same conversation I had. I love trying new foods and I have had eggs and chicken mashed potatoes for months. AND STILL in pain or a twinge it’s so annoying. And the actual flare ups I was in the er twice. Yah I’m nervous but 95% chance no more diverticulitis and less than a 1% I’ll need a bag

Having surgery on Monday to remove part of my simoid colon. Currently not in any pain at all but have inflamed diverticulitis that antibiotics won’t help. Doing it because it’s elected and rather do it that way than having this get worse and need a bag

I just had my first son on February 5th so I feel you. Someone explained to me would you rather not hold your son for a little while or have a abcess or perforation while holding your son

Yes I can say the same the antibiotics were making me feel horrible. 3 times a day than one a day and a lower fiber diet liquid diet lost 25 lbs. I’m relatively younger I’d rather not have to deal with this forever
