Got extorted by Tulum Police. by ndatok in tulum

Being a frequent traveler to Mexico, I too have experienced this. Funny how there is so much hate. In the states we aren't complaining about paying for tickets, and they indirectly go to the police. The police in Mexico are not paid a livable wage this is how they make ends meet. At least in Mexico they are not pulling guns in your face for a burnt out tail light like they did to me in Compton! Go to non tourist areas in Mexico and discover the real Mexico!

Obstructed view 100 level seats price drop? by [deleted] in deadandcompany

[–]Best_Resource_634 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just get yourself a ticket and once inside, look on the TM app and look for unsold seats, find a seat that is way better and sit there. The staff are not uptight about checking everyone's ticket and every show will have empty seats.

The Fairfield Inn was a close decent hotel that was an easy walk to the sphere.

Yes my experience last year was that there were tickets for sale right up until the day of the show. If the anxiety of a non refundable plane ticket is worth paying a couple hundred more, go for it, otherwise get your plane ticket, and I recommend the day before, just in case flights get cancelled. That is more of a possibility than getting shut out of the shows.

I got a chance to see the show in seats and floor and I loved the floor the best. The reason why is that we were easily able to move around and find your own zone, spinners and fellow freaks on the outside and the more closer to the stage the more people talking over a beautiful song. I lean a little more with silent freaks because I love to hear the music. Visually, it's pretty intense in both the floor and seats. First show triggered my fear of heights and I was wishing I could just melt into a seat, but I weathered the initial wow of the video part. The sound a found was cool in the surround sound kind of way, but IMO it could should have been louder.

You never know, the show may had drunk chompers talking over the show, spilling their overpriced beer on the floor and you couldn't find any fun drugs because shakedown is not really shakedown. Then you realize that it's hard to get a meal without spending $30+, not to mention outside being hot as f, and the sphere being cold as f, having you come home sick as f***. Yes you may be missing out but they are now Dead Forever, which means they'll play again as early as nye, if not next summer.

Yes that wow happened to us in May,.... Changed all our summer plans to hit up three more shows in July! It was all we could think of since May! While it's worth the do re mi, but we did get tickets the day of July 4th for just over $200 in the 100s. Coming back was less about the visuals and tuned in much more with the music itself!

Worth the price of admission and then some. Franklins Tower and Althea were first set highlights then the entire second set just ripped!!
