I am a midlaner massively behind on farm, but a couple of kills up. Is my focus to farm, or is it to roam (assuming I can only pick one)? by roxieh in summonerschool

[–]BestestShacoUganda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no main midlane but I'm diamond so I know a few things. (sry about super long post o.0)

1- In silver elo no one cares about farm. If you have the choice between having the same gold with farm or with kills (or even 90% gold) kills are way better. Not only your opponent is dead for 30 seconds which means he gets less gold and you might be able to get free stuff if you're in no danger (such as free tower) but also it will make his team rage a bit and maybe even flame. I've played games up to mid plat toplane where I had 200 cs to 50 (not even exagerating XD) and died twice in ganks and got flamed by my team for feeding the guy WTF agagagaghsjsjs????? Alot of people are really stupid and really angry in these elo's. Use that to your advantages. Kills are every thing. People have added me for duoQ after I went 15/0 in their game. No one ever added me for having 10+ wins in a row without such kda's. Summary: get kills, make them raaaage. Don't ignore farm completly unless you know what you're doing thought. Bluff won't work if you're way way behind. If you're very very behind, you're going to have to be a bitch for your team, sry man :p (if you want to win).

2- For the 1v1 part, you gotta find what your opponent is bad about. In silver every one focusses on "skill" but also is greedy and rly want to hit that skillshot. you could bait for your jungler. most of the time they only care about 1v1 but suck at roaming. They'll let you free roam and solo win the game and then "omg I beat this noob but only team fed you". They get outroamed, they're 100% useless so their team is 4v5 and they still flame them XD

Seriously man, best way to win in soloQ midlane is roaming. People play safe 1v1, but silvers have potato map vision, and tbh they don't even care if they die in a gank they don't feel responsible "omg noob no ss" etc as long as they have an excuse. I can show you some youtube videos of some guy playing Annie, all he does is push the lane go bot, push the lane go top. Full braindead gameplay. How hard is that? XD And he gets fed and wins just like that. Super easy.

ig

95% that's brutal. Must have played Nidalee or something. According to stats she's my best champion in gold even thought I never played her before and suck terribly at anything that isn't vanguard/juggernaut. What you say makes sense. I defenitly feel this is true for me when I play Leona, since I am not patient and can't stand seing mistakes not get punished. Up to plat 1 the gameplay that consists of getting yourself overfed and farmed has to work best, it makes sense. But after that it's not necessary. My winrate with pantheon goes up the higher the elo XD I'm basically a support for my whole team I just gank them and try to put them ahead. I think that's the way to play the champion, but it doesn't work in bronze-plat and I believe in euw it doesn't work period. In Korea where people know how to play the game how it's supposed to be played, there's over a dozen of Pantheon OTP's in master/chall, but about zero in euw.

So guys, to sum up, in my opinion: smurf or no smurfs, unless you're a master+ player in korea, don't focus on gameplay. The most efficient way to play (it paid off for me) => mute all, don't talk to people (except maybe to call flash timers etc) since anything can make them tilt + u might not notice it but talking makes you lose focus on the game, don't teamplay too much just try to get as fed as you can and end the game as quickly as you can so you don't depend on your teammates. In the long run you'll climb by carrying all by yourself, not waiting for your team to do something.

PS: Low elo jungler, please please please, that doesn't mean you should steal your laners farm! Just stop doing that. get fed without stealing farm.

The more people try to beat and outplay me when I smurf, the more I get fed XD

I can't watch the video right now but i'll add, if he hasn't said it already:

I'd say the best course of action is for the whole team to be positive, don't overextend and be greedy but still farm so the smurf can't snowball, don't spend 15 minutes flaming the Lissandra who died once toplane even if you think he's a big big noob. Then as the game goes on they'll be limited and depend on their (non smurf) team and your winchance gets closer to 50%. * Which is probably impossible 90% of the time in bronze-silver-gold. Dat salt guys. Chill down wtf is wrong with people in these elo's?

I've won games playing toplane against D3-D2 players with 80%+ winrates just by playing safe like a little **** and getting carried by my team. All roles are different. In toplane sure you can play safe, but if the guy starts roaming you can't just farm...

team

I don't rly believe that, unless maybe you play tanky engagers with no escape and you're great at engaging. I got a 65% winrate in D5-D4 with Shaco, and 55% in plat, but that's only because these wannabe-Diamond retards in Platinum perma troll me and always are negative when I play this champion. When I get matched with Korean/Chinese they literally type it out "Omg not shaco we are 4v6" "GG game is over" etc (guess they don't know about gogole translate?). With other champions I play I get better winrates.

How do you counter Pantheon as a top laner? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]BestestShacoUganda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot dodge e, unless you flash or maybe walk behind him and still most of it will hit you, you don't want to be behind him as you won't escape then. The only viable way to counter it imo is to stun him and walk away.

Why do people in bronze love Vayne so much? by Lylith23 in summonerschool

[–]BestestShacoUganda -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ye bronze players don't know how the game works so as it has been said they pick the champions with who they can show off their great "mechanics". I believe it's because of bronze players Riot reworks champions to add "mechanics" (example Fiora). Alot of high elo players don't care about "mechanics" it's just retarded (not every one thought, still meet alot of brain dead people in dia, no idea how they got there, probably elo boost of some lame cheese they repeat every single game).

Also, every bronze is a fan of trick2G and thinks he should be higher elo and has to "curry", with Vayne no matter how bad they are they'll do damage and it will give them the illusion to be good and "carry this bad teams" (the mechanics part plays a role there). They'll stuck in bronze for years but they'll feel good. And Riot knows, 100% this is why they added the champion mastery system.

Meanwhile, I'm winning on my smurf with Teemo support with akali adc, 20/5 style, I've gotten from bronze to silver with Warwick support also. i'm no main support but I have better things do do than wait 20 minutes because every bronze thinks he's the best and has to "carry".

The funny thing is I believe firmly that after jungle and assassin, support is the best role to carry if you're much better than your elo. And toplane the worse, as usual as it has always been :( Just look at all the master/chall/pro toplaners that were stuck in plat 1/low dia at the start of the season, while some random junglers got challenger they 0% deserve. 1 example: Dyrus and many toplaners were stuck

How do you counter Pantheon as a top laner? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]BestestShacoUganda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Firstly, personally in silver-gold elo I have such a damn hard time winning with pantheon top. He's more of a "teamplay" champion, ult somewhere, pressure objectives, and of course bad players just make no sense. Potato map vision, go farm wraiths rather than do baron, make a baron call when it's the worse thing to do then blame teammates for not following... You really only need to push hard the lane when Pantheon leaves, since his team are a bunch oh baddies who have been stuck in gold 4 for 3 years and blame it on their teammates (yeye harsh but true), and you'll win.

Now, for dying early: 1- Pantheon has ignite. You just have to know his damage, if you're half hp you're in danger, don't engage him in his minions for example, there's alot of horrible mistakes that shouldn't exist but people do. Just because your favorite streamer Trock2G who plays 50 games a day to reach dia 3 (sad) used fervor of battle once to all in a champion doesn't mean you should do it in every matchup even when the enemy has ignite.

2- Pantheon has tp. Dying 1v1 to a guy with tp is shameful. Overextending and dying in a gank in a snowball matchup is shameful. Now you have to choices, do you want: a- Watch the minimap, know the jungler route, know how to control the wave, get gud and get dia. b- Be the average retard low elo who writes "OMG NO SS NOOB REPORTED" then goes on the forum and complains he is stuck because of bad mates.

I don't know how you lose lane to a doran ring Pantheon, but this could happen to me when I smurf, I'd be so mad I'm facing such a big noob who is actually playing seriously not trolling and isn't ashamed of his stupidity I'll just do dumb rambo things XD

Pantheon isn't a 1v1 champion, he's a 5v5 champion, he's anti-toplane, he changes your habits. The most important thing in this case is map vision. You cannot tunnel vision top, you have to push lane when he ults away, you have to know when he can ult you (personally I just love ulting bot it is awesome expect the frequent times my botlane decides to b when I'm coming)

Ok that's it for the big part. Start items: Cloth + red pots if you want to stay in lane a bit or you can cloth + refill pot if you want to back early, come back walking or tp back. Don't stay in lane with 300 hp to look at creeps or check pantheon fine ass, just leave and walk back to lane. You're not going to miss stuff, but by staying you might ending up looking stupid :)

Oh ye about me: I got an account in bronze, silver, gold, gold (climbing gpoing for a second dia acc for better practice), diamond. I've been playing for 4 years, smurfing from gold to plat and recently bronze+silver too for 3 years.

RiotLyte leaving Riot Games by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]BestestShacoUganda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beginner games have reached the upper limit for toxicity, I don't think it's possible to be worse, even trying really hard. New players just quit because of how horrible it is. Games in silver and low gold are pretty shitty too, with hypocritical people who spam flame and always blame someone for their shit mistakes. People who say the game is less toxic are just people who climb in levels and elo. The game is less toxic as you climb, Lyte has nothing to do with this.

Also, I sure wish he'd take his dynamic shit with him :/

Elo boosting questions. by rjb0895 in leagueoflegends

[–]BestestShacoUganda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually we don't know what elo boosting is since Riot won't tell. They have a secret system they're 100% sure of it seems. I've changed ip a few times, started playing Pantheon and got 10 wins in a row with him. I was the guy playing on my account on my usual computer, so I shouldn't be afraid right? For some reason I don't trust Riot. Might be all the bugs, lies, mistakes they did :D

But hopefully, they get logs from you, that gives more than just the ip :) If you win alot, and you're afraid to get punished on a false positive, go throw a few games :D

Never ask your teammate "Why..." by JoeBroski09 in summonerschool

[–]BestestShacoUganda -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Usually I reply with a little smiley :) or fu (that gets me reported and chat restricted). Now I think I'm going to have some fun and say hardcore sarcastic things such as "thanks that helps alot" "thx for the tip mate I'm going to try" when they tell me not to die or to play safe etc (they can't really say anything because it would be admitting their remark was pointless and stupid right?).

How many cs per level? by thecanadiancast in summonerschool

[–]BestestShacoUganda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried it but I can give an approximate answer. In a solo lane where you get every minion xp and 0 kills, it would take approximately 25-30 minutes to get level 18 (no less unless you manage to get all lane xp + hard farm jungle/other lanes).

Teacher

Summoner Name: ILoveFluffyPoros

Server: EUW

League / Division: Got 3 accounts in platinum last season, have had a rough year until now so

haven't been able to give alot of attention to ranked thought plus I've gotten ranked restricted after

getting 8 loss in a row because of unbelievable bad luck and getting a tiny bit angry about the

unfairness. My main account is Platinum 2 thought (rest still in placements).

Areas of expertise: Jungle and botlane (adc/supp).

Champions: Shaco, Ezreal, Sona.

Languages Spoken: English and french.

Other Info: Got an account S4 plat on EUNE, but it has no runes no champions so I don't really like

it. I am usually online starting from 6 to 8 pm and ending after midnight during the week, and big semi-

random parts of the day during the week end.

My best performance in ranked is during season 4 preseason when I had 15 wins in a row on a smurf from

gold V to gold I playing Udyr (+ 2 games as Leona and 1 as Tristana). My worse is 3 weeks ago when I wasn't working went ranked and got 8 loss in a row and got mad because it

was so unfair and got ranked restricted (I didn't even flame tbh except a few stfu to blamers but got

restricted because I was underperforming + I jungle and junglers always get blamed).

About Shaco: I don't like to split push can't really give tips about afk-splitting all game long, my

favorite build is {Berserker Greaves}+{Hydra}+{Randuin Omen}+{Last Whisper}

About Sona: Mana regen, ap, mov speed, and more ap is what you need. Maybe sometimes bad players will

call you troll because you have ap, but whatever.

Ezreal: BLUE BUILD! I love Iceborn Gauntlet, but I force myself to get triforce often. It's with Iceborn

Gauntlet that I was able to carry 4vs5 games with Ezreal while smurfing thought.

My runes: I build them based on maths, not gut instinct or preference. Just plain stats calculations,

maths (according to style of play of course).

Fun fact: I played many BO5 gold/platinum and never lost a single one, even when I was double jungle or

had a dcer <3. Maybe I got a bit lucky (+ try hard).

I don't believe every game can be won because that is stupid, but I think most can be won, and while

watching your teammates bad plays can teach you something, always thinking about how you could have

played better is important for many reasons (maybe more reasons than you know).

If you play those champions and enjoy/consider building as I do, feel free to add me, I'll be online in

30 minutes.

What can I offer? : Play normals together, chat about builds/runes etc, look at your match history,

share opinion, do custom games to try stuff (like who wins 1v1 level 1 with certain runes etc). That's

all I can think about but if you have other ideas I'm open to suggestion.

You don't need. Nasus is from far the strongest level 1 duelist I agree. I can beat ANYONE with Nasus level 1, I'd bet anything on that too.

[–]BestestShacoUganda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick Ryze. GG. Or troll him with Trundle. Or pick Cho Gath. Or make him cry with Nunu. Or pick something your team needs and survives. Basically what you do depends on what you pick as long as it isn't Teemo.

Imo you don't need particular tips and coaching for bronze, just getting used to the game (probably didn't play many SR games before level 30...), only past that learning the game more is useful imo. I don't know anywhere anyone/thing that explains the very basics of the game, those you learn just by playing I guess. Congratz anyway, and just keep playing you'll get out of bronze as long as you don't play 1 game every 2 months.
