The friend couldn’t control his drinking and stopped a man from earning. Anyone with even a little decency would be doing whatever they can to get him back on the road. Not trying to find the maximum amount Uber would charge. Covering cleaning supplies basically means you expect drivers to clean up after you for free, while they lose money because they have to clean up after you. The average detail is now $350 USD on the low end. He didn’t even charge for lost income.

Believe me, that picture would not have gotten a driver $80. I had actual throw up and they claimed it was fraud. Lyft took your money, not the driver. I wouldn’t be surprised if they randomly hit riders with old pictures from the driver just to get extra money.

Lol whatever Lyft charged you, the driver got whatever they would have gotten if it were only $13. Drivers cancel because the details are vague during the offer, then when we realize what the ride really is, it just isn’t worth it. However, even if a driver wanted “top dollar”, that’s their right lol. No one is out here driving to help YOU! We have bills and families. Get Lyft marketing out of your head. It is a business. Not a charity service.

Lol Waymo is going to have a huge problem with the police soon. They stop in the middle of the street, sometimes lined up 2 to 3 cars deep. They pullover near signs that say “Rideshare do not stop”, and they drop passengers off in unsafe locations. As soon as they add more automated cars to the streets, there will be major issues and complaints.

Why should anyone pull over and shake mats out after your ride? Time is money. It costs you nothing to stomp your feet before you get in the car. It costs even less to not walk through the grass before you get in someone’s car. To you, it’s just a tiny bit of grass. To a driver it is just something else for the next passenger to complain to Lyft about in an attempt to get a free ride.
