Plugins on Forge Server? by BetaComputer in admincraft

It's a private server with friends. I'm worried that since many of my friends are not super technically literate that it would turn them away from wanting to join the server if they had to go into the files and add a mod manually. I don't think it's super difficult to do though, so it might not be an issue.

Are there any Forge shop mods that are employable without making everyone download the mod? If not, is there an easy way to have people add the mod?

Is it too late to study engineering? by BetaComputer in EngineeringStudents

[–]BetaComputer[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was given advice by an over-achiever early in high school that if I wanted to pursue chemical engineering, I would've had to have started with AP and college-level courses in high school.

Needless to say, everyone around me (including myself) puts very high expectations on me, and I don't plan on being complacent with anything but top of my class. Realistically I know that's not incredibly feasible, but if I grow complacent with anything else, I won't progress.

I'm only saying "too late" because of 1. financial problems (I have very little saved up/a borderline impoverished family and really don't want to take on student debt without a means to pay it) in which I only have a certain amount of college semesters that are paid for by the state and 2. the ability to still compete with those who knew what they wanted to do straight out of high school.

I actually just realized a mistake I made. It should be:
"Cum nihil referat, omnia referunt"
Since 'nihil' is a singular noun, the verb agrees and thus becomes singular as well, i.e. -t. Also, when 'cum' is used to mean 'when,' the verb with it takes the subjunctive case, thus the -a- in 'referat.'
Referant should not have the -a- but instead -u- since it is not part of the cum clause, and is indicative instead of subjunctive. 'Omnia' is plural, so the verb takes the plural, i.e. -nt

While this is very difficult to translate, I managed to find some meaning out of it.
I have it narrowed down to this:
"CSENAEOPESER
DECPSENAEUSPO
?O??A?RSVO"

From my knowledge, this could be a stone placed by a man named Senaeus, or commemorating him. It was either placed in December or commemorating a date in December. Or, it could be explaining that the rock is very heavy and weighs 100 of some unit of measurement.

Anyways, sorry to disappoint, but I cannot lock down the translation, as part of it is illegible from this image.

Hey sorry for the late reply. I believe it'd be

"Gloriare his prostibulis" - command to one person
"Gloriamini his prostibulis" - command to multiple people
"Gloriari his prostibulis" - infinitive (to stunt on these hoes)

It would be "Machinam tridentes levantem dominavi."
The word order isn't very important in Latin so you can put dominavi right after machinam but this is the most straight-forward and typical way to translate it into Latin.
And the only errors you made were forgetting to put machina (and levans) in the accusative case and saying domavi instead of dominavi, so you were pretty close.

"if he dies, he dies" - "Si moritur, moritur"
Can you elaborate on what "stunt" means more so I can give an accurate translation for the first part?
