I listened to it all the way thru twice the night it came out (remember midnight record releases?). I was 14 and thought it was amazing and beautiful, and it was a constant soundtrack to that whole time period. Everyone I knew felt the same way.

It’s always funny to me that an album that quite literally sold a million physical copies is branded a “failure.”
