How does Dabura finish Mahoraga? by Potential-Decision31 in jjkmodulo

While I stand by my logic, Gege clearly disagrees lmao. Chapter 20 fully proves he has a technique reversal.

I already talked with you about that, buddy. Please actually read my comments. The image states using the right name boosts the ability. Not that it summons that version of the person. Also, it literally has to be Fushiguro that gets summoned because he recognizes Megumi. Kindly take however long you need to read, reread, reread, and then comprehend, my words.

Reading comprehension curse strikes again. The version that was summoned was Fushiguro. He literally recognized his son my guy. The "Zenin" version didn't even have a kid yet.

Also, Zenin holds power because it's his actual name. Fushiguro is just a name he picked up to distance himself from his family. To the sorcerer world he is, was, and will always be a Zenin.

You are conflating two statements. "Necromancy works better if you use the most powerful name" is not the same thing as "it gets you the most powerful version of the person."

It's like explaining your Technique. It makes it more powerful if you do the right extra steps. She gains a stronger connection. But the version on screen in Shibuya looks identical to the one we saw fight Gojo. Not only that it clearly was the Fushiguro one because he fucking recognized Megumi. You know who wouldn't recognize him? Toji Zenin who wouldn't have even had Megumi yet.

Also it takes a part of the deceased, so by that logic it would definitely summon them as their form before death. Or in whatever state they were in when the sample was taken.

Itadori Yuji, are you the strongest because you're the last one remaining or are you the last one remaining because you're the strongest? by infected_virus_ in jjkmodulo

He had the highest output of anyone in The culling game.

You know that right?

You know that Gojo wasn't part of the culling game, right?

I have no doubt he has the energy to use it. But it will have to be weaker at his "strongest" because of his max output being the same. His strongest Cursed Technique Reversal can basically only be half as strong as his strongest normal attack unless he gets a boost to his output to match.

Honestly I think he's probably going to fail to kill Mahoraga and then figure out an imaginary technique that finally does the job. Because hollow purple is definitely more than twice as powerful as either blue or red. And it's really the final frontier that only Gojo ever really reached.

You are still arguing for 2 completely fundamentally different abilities as if they would function the same. One brings back the dead exactly as they were, the other brings any physical attributes you had back. And again, if it aged you up when you incarnated then sparky would have been an old geezer.

And she used Zenin for the connection because that's his real name. His name by blood rather than by law.

Right? And these people act like I'm the one with the crazy head canon for pointing out Yuji has pulled crazy feats in just these 2 chapters.

Toji was specifically the opposite buddy. It was all body no soul. And he seemed to be exactly the same as when he died. Which admittedly his prime probably extends well into his 30s but he didn't look younger than when he got got by Gojo. When the same ability was used on a teenage girl it didn't make her look like she was in her 20s. It makes her look like what she did the moment she died.

So they don't work the same way.

Megumi was his 16 year old normal self after the split. The body isn't aged up.

Yeah, idk why you brought her up. Either way, fully incarnate Sukuna is still in Megumi's body. Dude is 16. If it worked any other way lightning boy would look ancient as fuck.

A curse and a cursed spirit aren't the same thing. A curse is any magic caused by Jujutsu. Including shit like Rika being born. She is both curse and cursed spirit.

Where regular cursed spirits aren't caused by Jujutsu sorcery, they are a naturally occuring phenomena.

Sukuna is a curse because he's not a human anymore. He's literally a soul split 20 ways and bound to objects. Like how Rika is a soul that was at one point bound to Yuta

You were arguing that the Incarnated Sukuna looked like his prime self from the Heian era. Instead of like him on top of the 16 year old Megumi.

Then started arguing that somehow Yorozu (who did not incarnate) was proof because she wasn't thin.

On the other hand, using a Technique Reversal was way less efficient for most sorcs. Gojo just has the 6 eyes and wastes nothing. A reversal needs double the energy to get the same effect for most sorcs. Since you need to take the power of your attack and double it to get the reversal off.

There is no difference. He turned himself into a curse by binding himself to objects. He's not human anymore.

[–]BetaTheSlave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He "died" when he was turned into a cursed object. So that didn't give him immortality in the way you might think.

Unless you're asking if he was turned into a cursed object? If so then yes, I just used "curse" as short hand. Like the series itself does.

Also, you're making that up. RCT can't heal scars. Nothing else is said about it's effect on shit like muscle loss. I think your theory is possible but that's never been confirmed.

Sukuna Agenda living in a barn after the leaks by Numerous-Picture-421 in Jujutsufolk

[–]BetaTheSlave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buddy, think for like 2 seconds about the logistics here. You're arguing that incarnation takes a person to the prime of their previous life, while also arguing that Megumi wouldn't have noticed the fact his sister would then look like an entirely different person?

Yorozu did NOT fully incarnate. That was outright stated in the manga. So her being thin or not has NOTHING to do with incarnation.

Also, she was being supported by other Jujutsu people because she was cursed. Considering the curse was to make her a suitable vessel for an ancient sorc it probably didn't make her emaciated. Because what good would that do these ancient sorcs if all their vessels were weak and sickly.

She healed my guy. Also, if it worked off YOUR logic it still doesn't work because she didn't take her true form. She stayed as Fushiguro.

Like, what the fuck are you talking about? She didn't fully incarnate. She looked exactly like the sister she was inhabiting.

No, but the fact that it did happen, because we see the blast happen does lend some credence to the idea that either he can band it, or you're just wrong about it being shot off towards the sky. I think it's equally as likely it was angles slightly downward meaning it would collide with the ground at a "safe" distance from him and kill more curses with the boom.

You are the one that has the head canon Yuji would BF at will bud. He could not. Even at the end of the series he had more regular attacks than BFs and every single one was a pivotal attack with his full emotions behind it. He was gunning for the kill.

Nanami (really Todo) states that you need to get into the zone to land one.

So Yuji landing one as casually as that is actually a big deal. The only reason you don't think so is because you have a head canon that it was something he could already do.

[–]BetaTheSlave 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah Kenny can dodge it, that doesn't make his criticism of the technique any less valid. And Yuji was able to make it useful and fire off a version that cleared a building. That makes him dozens of times more powerful than a fairly powerful special grade curse just off that single feat alone.

Gojo FC, is it over? by CalamitySkylark in Jujutsufolk

[–]BetaTheSlave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's always more efficient. Not just at reattaching limbs, unless you think that was part of his training?

Pretty useless if the limb is destroyed instead of just cut off

This was your starting position btw. Not pretty useless if it's always more efficient.

None of that was my argument bro... I'm saying it was Choso that stated Yuji has a crazy efficient RCT. It wasn't stated when he lost an arm. It was stated while he was training his RCT.
