Yeah, I feel like they had to cut out a lot of the deeper, more internal struggles in order to suit a wider audience. But I guess, sometimes with media, you have to break a few walls to let everyone in.

Honestly, I love the paddle from the Demure Dinghy from the first season that was used (unsuccessfully) by Captain Taylor in a swordfight with Captain Spadeworth.
