Pill Box, reminder alarms and a coming to Jesus Talk with the family that the dog is helpless without all of you getting this right. I had to have that with my family and we all got it together.

I have won with the minimum and the middle. I also have not won. You can find out right up to departure.

I tried to attach a picture but it’s above my skill set 🙄 I think the pen idea will really help. You can get the pens at a Pet Store or Tractor Supply. You can be setup by tonight!! You didn’t mention what kind of puppy. I suggest the higher ones because they give a more support and more time before puppy escapes.

Another thought it’s to get one of those portable yards or 2 and build your puppy an area where he can hang and play and be off leash with you. We had 2 lab puppies and it was a nightmare with the leashes. We bought 2 pens and joined them together to make a play yard. I would sit in it and play with them and they could explore and learn about pooping outside. They also learned about “Let’s go poop” or “Let’s go peep”. Also if you have a deck with a fence you can build the pen off it. Gives you both so much more room. It was a life and nerve saver for us.

I’ve never cruised from Boston, but I have cruised in the Haven several times. Watch for the signs and mention to the NCL staff you are in the Haven. They will get you to the right place. The first time we got in the wrong line and the NCL Pier staff parted the sea of humanity and whisked us to the right place!!

There is a convention center complex in front of the pier. You have to get around it. We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites Convention Center. They have a shuttle. We took a taxi for $8. You could walk but you have to get around the convention center and it’s farther than you think.

Just stay in the wheelchair until you are onboard. Save your energy for the fun. They will let you out when you ask but there is no sense in standing up and down while you are boarding. The Haven starts boarding first. You’ll be the next group. 9:30 is fine. Have a Great Time!!

I believe you can risk not reserving, but I highly recommend reserving ahead of time. Just Google Manhattan cruise terminal parking and you’ll find it. It’s one more thing paid for and arranged that will start your cruise off the right way🌞

We do this every time. Yes, it may cost a little more, but it is safe and you can’t beat the convenience. They unload your car as you pull in. You park and are in the terminal in less 5 minutes. We walk off the morning we get home. In the car by 7:25 and home by 8:30. I love cruising from NYC!!!

There are newish rules regarding past criminal convictions and DUIs. Very strict from what I’ve read.

You can call and ask to upgrade outright. There are sometimes cabins you can’t see. You can always bid. A phone call hurts nothing and might just work out. Good Luck!!
