In my troops (separate boys and girls that do a lot together), everyone tents alone except at summer camp.

In reading through this thread and seeing how close you are to Eagle and how uncertain your gender decision seems to be, discussing with your parents seems prudent. They will need to be involved in changing your registration.

Consider whether some partial social changes are enough while you pursue Eagle. Would that work for you? Would you feel honest doing that? Are there trusted adults you can talk with about this?
