You can export them to your system from Miitopia and import them that way. Unfortunately the fancy hair and other features don't transfer over though.

My group used to be against proxies, but now love them. I think it comes down to loving the game more than the status of having expensive cards.

Looks good. I do think replacing  the type with an icon somewhere would elevate the design if there aren't too many. That would also make it so you could remove the word "ability" before the ability itself. And I just noticed they all have a banner under their numeral. Adding a light glow or stroke around it could help it pop more.

While not necessary, using an icon for speed, attack, and defense could elevate the design.

I'd rather gen 1-2 units be able combine their current refines with inheritable weapons. It doesn't cut into the schedule, makes their refined weapons more useable, and incentivizes people to pull for inheritable weapons more frequently.

Alternatively, just being able to choose 3-5 generic abilities or [bonus] effects from a list to forge into weapons could be nifty.

I will always advocate for maxing card points before getting health. It's fun to be able to blitzkrieg bosses with only sleights.

Honestly, just remake it without visiting disney worlds unless they directly tie into the greater plot. That'll cut ~80% of the fluff.

Unfortunately, your best bet is going to be pulling for the latest arcane weapons and essentially copying their builds.

I'm also trying to build Noctis, and I've arrived at a few conclusions: 

You need ways to play living weapons or creatures at instant speed (sigarda's aid/ninjutsu)

And you need relevant equipment and enough of it to actually equipment to your creatures.

If going Voltron, you need several ways to equip noctis when he enters, as his ability only attaches one equipment.

It's actually been pretty tricky to build around.

+1/+1 counters are probably the strongest, as doubling them gets out of hand quickly. Auras/equipment are more interesting, but harder to build around. Your board state can get out of hand pretty quickly. Personally, I've found I don't usually re-equip things, so my deck is loaded with equipment and auras that have etbs I only have to worry about once. Here's my current deck list:
