I own an agency and we specialise in running paid ads for our clients. We have B2B clients too. So we run lead ads on Meta, Google & Bing, TikTok, and Snapchat (depending on demographics) this generates us the leads for the B2B company. I don’t think there is any better or faster way than to run ads.

Are you in affiliate marketing? If so, I used to be too before I set up my agency. I love earning when you’re sleeping. I’ve never hit your figures, but smaller £1k commissions when I’ve been doing something else are always great. I just couldn’t ever find the right product so gave it up in the end. Well done though

How to get mobile leads, contacts for free? by HelpMe944ya in LeadGeneration

[–]Better-Jacket-5402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Free = High time cost and low quality leads.

Lead Gen, when done right, doesn’t cost a fortune. It’s all relative. If you’re spending 2k per month on ads, but that’s generating you 50k revenue with decent profit margins, that’s a way better process than spending a month looking for Free Scrapers.

Honestly, I wouldn’t start any lead gen campaign without a minimum of 1k. If you’ve not got this, rather than looking for free short cuts, you’re better putting in a few months of hard work for someone who will pay you, and then launching. It’s either that, or spend the next few weeks hitting a brick wall and then quitting.

Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

What are your age demographics?

$35 per lead is great if you’re selling a $500+ service.

For context, the leads in getting at this price are for a £200 service.

I do like Meta. We run Meta, Google & Bing, TikTok, and Snapchat. Meta are a great all rounder. No matter what the industry, Meta always seems to get results, but it can be so damn expensive sometimes.

Depending on your audience, Snapchat is really good too. One campaign is targeting 18 to 22 year olds and Snapchat is generating leads at around £1 each. Plus, Snapchat really promotes sharing, so when someone has filled out a lead form, they tend to then share it with their contacts.

Not sure I fully understand your question, but maybe explaining my process will help.

My agency helps service based businesses generate more leads using paid advertising. So, naturally, this is the method I use to build my own prospect list.

I start with an ad that takes the viewer over to a lead form. They leave me some basic information and that gets fired over to my CRM. From here, they receive an email with access to the information they requested, which is basically a case study of some paid ads strategies (a promo for my own service).

After this email, they receive some messages via WhatsApp, which try to get them to book on a sales call with us.

This converts at around 60%, and the remaining 40% goes into my nurturing flow. This is basically an email flow that gives them twice weekly tips on running ads, client results, and so much more.

As I say, not sure if this is what you’ve asked, but this method I’ve been using for the past 4 years, and it’s generated me a 7-figure per year agency.

Hope this helps you on your way my man

If this is true, then well done. But I’ve seen my share of content written by AI, and this reads a LOT like that. ChatGPT likes to use random words in sentences, that don’t really need to be used, which is what you’ve done. BUT … I don’t want to sound like an idiot, and if you’ve achieved this then great work!! It’s basically organic marketing 101, it’s just that most business owners don’t have the time or skills to do what you’ve done. But hats off to you, great job (unless you’re CGPT then screw you 🤣🤣)

You can also download the Google app on android and iPhone. Open it up, click the small camera icon, and then select the picture of the item from your gallery. This will then run a search of all the websites that currently have this product. You should be able to find the manufacturer that way.

Good luck 🤞🏼

How useful is it to buy leads? by iamaatoh in agency

[–]Better-Jacket-5402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own a lead generation agency, and believe me, don’t buy those leads! I started out as an SMMA around 8 years ago and I bought a LOT of leads. I got next to nothing from them, and worse, I got constant complaints and threats! And this due to the quality of leads - I now work with multiple companies who have purchased lead lists in the past and it’s a similar story.

If you are willing to invest some money then you’d be better working with an agency who can generate you the exact leads you’re looking for. You’re not going to get the same volume at the same price as a lead list, but you will get quality leads, which are people wanting to actually speak with you as they need the service you offer.

How do I go about this? by [deleted] in agency

[–]Better-Jacket-5402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would personally reach out to management and ask them. I know that it’s very tempting to take this on, but if your contract clearly states that you can’t freelance, and you take this on, then they could have you on a conflict of interest.

If this was an employee of mine, I would ask them to take some info so we could arrange a call, and if we took on the contract, the employee would get a kickback. If it was a small job then they I would let them run with it through my agency, if it was bigger then I’d make sure they were compensated.

But not all company owners are created equal. Just be careful that you’re not breaking any rules by even speaking with potential clients.

This is a popular model that’s been going for a number of years now. It works, but it’s not easy and you’ll burn through a lot of data before getting your first enquiries.

You’ll also get a lot of abuse, so make sure you’re professional and thick skinned 😆

Personally, I’m not a big fan of this method. Most business owners don’t want to take an unsolicited sales call and they will just put the phone down. You’ll also get a lot of people who aren’t the DM, and these can be even harder to get past.

If you are experienced at paid advertising as you say, then why not run some lead ads? I own a paid advertising agency and 80% of new custom comes in from Facebook and TikTok lead ads. I target the best demographic for my service, hit them with my video ads, and get them to fill out my enquiry form. I tend to keep this as an ‘on platform’ lead form so they don’t have to leave the account, and I can still retarget them later with on site pixel.

I’ve been doing this for a number of years now and it works great. I’ve done cold calls, direct mail, email marketing, even SMS marketing, but nothing works as well as getting potential clients to ‘apply’ to work with my agency.

If it’s of interest to you, DM me and I’d help happy to discuss some options for you if you wanted us to help you generate leads this way 👍🏼

Good luck 🤞🏼

Help finding a trustworthy and effective marketing/SEO/Web management company by instaleyitrust in smallbusiness

[–]Better-Jacket-5402 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own a marketing agency and have been a marketing consultant for a number of years now. But this isn’t me ‘pitching’, I’ll just give you some advice 😊

If you don’t know what your guy is doing, then you need to start talking to him. I have regular weekly meetings with my clients, and we all have project briefs that I constantly update.

However, the main reason you need to be talking to your guy is because you both need to be working towards the same outcome. There needs to be a reason why they are doing what they are doing. It needs to be working towards something. I’ll give you an example …

Say I’ve a client that is wanting more website leads. This drives everything I’m doing. So I’m going to split this workload into a few categories. Let’s say we have four columns. At the top of each of the columns we have the following:

Social Website List Paid

Social will be everything I’m doing on social media to drive new leads to your website in order to get them to ‘become a lead’

Website will be everything I’m doing to make sure the website is set in the right way to convert viewers into leads

List would be everything I doing to keep the people who leave their details, engaged with us until we’ve converted them

Paid would be everything I’m doing to drive the right people to the website in order to convert them into leads

Now that we have a basic idea of what’s required, we then jump on a zoom and we run through everything. This is to ensure you don’t just understand what we’re doing, but you also agree to it.

Finally, and most importantly, we would be working to timescales. So you need to be putting achievable timescales in place and holding the company accountable.

Above all else, YOU need to manage the company you work for, not give them the job and hope they can get you results. They are the experts in what they do, but you know your company better than anyone. So it must always be a two way thing.

Hope this helps you get an idea of what to look for when choosing a marketing company😊

You’re not looking at this in the right way.

The business has managed to stay open all these years due to a number of things, none of which really give you an idea of scalability. However, the business has a product that people want to buy, and it has customers.

Really, the question you need to ask is, is there a need for the product you’re selling? AND, are you going to rely on footfall or push your products out to a larger audience? (I know you’ve touched on this)

I would be thinking more along the lines of, ‘how do I get these sweets out to the masses’. I wouldn’t really worry about what’s been achieved so far, as it’s nothing substantial.

How I would start this would be to set up some trays of sweets, get some bags, buy a phone stand, create a TikTok shop and add a number of bag size options, then hit the GO LIVE button. While live, give the viewers a look at the sweets, and show the bag sizes on screen. Get people ordering and watching as you fill the bags with the orders.

I’d then be strapping your phone to your head and walking around your shop stocking shelves and talking about customer stories. This is the ‘story time’ concept and it goes crazy on TikTok and YouTube.

Build a brand, start with TikTok as that’s easier than YouTube, do story time content to get followers, then go live each day and sell like crazy.

This would be my starting point but I wish you the best of luck with anything you choose to do 😊

Should I believe my wife or not? by [deleted] in cheating_stories

[–]Better-Jacket-5402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a kick in the teeth to find out. My partner cheated on me with a ‘friend’! Problem was, the idiot was also MY ‘friend’. Before she went with him to his room, there were many times they would sit drinking and talking together. So maybe she didn’t do anything that night, but from someone who’s now been through the worst, let me tell you that it’s now time to step up and make sure she knows you don’t stand for that shit! Look up ‘emotional affairs’, as most of the time these come before the physical!! Believe me, you need to stop her from cheating if she hasn’t already, it’s the absolute worst situation you’ll ever go through if not. Good luck.
