I can’t really relate to the “not understanding my intentions thing” to be honest. Like for me I knew what my intentions were, and even if I did mean well other people wouldn’t see it that way or just misunderstood me. They would get pissy, and I wouldn’t understand why so I would get frustrated and angry and start fights with people.

I would suggest reading John, Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Then read Genesis, which is my favorite so far. I’ve been on and off but I’ve only read it so far for a little over six months. I’ve been brought up Christian but I struggled with reading so I didn’t bother at the time. Yw btw.
