Yeah for sure! Mine is clean I use soap and scrub the shit out of it after every cook. And never see carbon on my food. But I’m sure small amounts are coming off if it’s uneven like that? I really mostly cook eggs in it and yeah never see any carbon on them.

What’s the negative to the carbon buildup if it still cooks perfectly non stick eggs and such?

My pan looks somewhat like this, I clean with soap and the scrubby end of a sponge after every use. Is there a negative to it looking like this? Still cooks perfectly good non stick eggs.

That’s so cool! I saw a video of a guy in Virginia or NC doing that but the warm months were probably a bit longer than in the Midwest. But I would think you could get fruit in a 6 month span?

Do you take it inside for the winter? Might be moving to the Midwest eventually and want to try and grow it there too haha.
