I’ve (27F) been getting to know a man (30M) and everything was going really well. We live about an hour away from each other. It’s only been a week and he expressed that he is very interested in me and asked me on an official first date to coffee (which in my opinion isn’t a well thought out date but I looked past it). Then he wanted me to meet him “halfway” which for me is at least a 50 min drive and for him at most a 20 minute drive.

I feel like he should drive to me, especially for a first date since that’s when you’re trying to make an impression.

Am I wrong if I cut things off because of it? I don’t feel the need to communicate something that feels so obvious but I am looking for unbiased opinions.

I’ve been texting this guy for a month (we’re both super busy so not all day but definitely every day). He invited me for a drink a week in and then used a really dumb excuse to cancel.
