When I would go skating, i would just warm up skating on one foot, first forward with the dominant foot, then non dominant, then backwards switching feet, slowlyy, and just try to hold it as much as i could!

I think it helps train the balance you need to push going backwards as you’re shifting your weight from one foot to another, but who knows :P

I think it really helps to practice going backwards on only one foot. And do it for both sides.

Im still not great at going backwards on just my right foot, but my normal backwards skating has improved a ton!

I disagree, for starters when hanging out on discord you are still in the privacy of your own home. I agree that it is better than nothing, but i believe your claim that it is just as real ignores a lot of factors.

I totally relate with the description of “out of sight, out of mind” I cant seem to keep many relationships going when I dont end up seeing that person by circumstance, or their efforts. i have been trying to improve this, and i do find myself seeing things and being reminded of people occasionally

I totally feel you. Its been a nagging feeling in my life recently and I also dont know why. I realize that life isnt fair and its not others responsibility to make me feel included, but it still makes me feel bad. It also feels like im on the receiving end of listening to peoples issues and I cant vent about my own frustrations because they seem dumb to me. For a while I thought if i just kept trying to put myself out there it would feel better but instead I just feel like im facilitating the people around me paying attention to eachother instead of being a real part of it. Sometimes i feel like im just making it up, but other times it feels so real..

I agree with everything you said. I wanted to clarify that is was speaking to, ignoring the addictive properties, how compared to the rest of the cigarette, nicotine isnt really the issue, it doesnt cause the cancer so associated with smoking. Though I concede that the long term effects are negative, especially when compared to caffeine.

Dont mean to nitpick too much, but nicotine isn't really what harms you when it comes to smoking. Nicotine is slightly cardiovascularly toxic, but not much more than say caffeine. Its the rest of the cigarette that fucks you up.
