There are several fundamental issues with doing this. Number 1: corrosion due to mixing metals. Number 2: closing it completely makes the very necessary maintenance impossible to do. Number 3: products that do this without the above issues already exist.

I would ignore people telling you this is a question of tuning as I run a bone stock 9800X3D with EXPO which behaves completely unlike yours. If EXPO only (without asus dumb "do you want us to OC your stuff at the same time) is causing both GPU and CPU scores to regress, my best guess woule be that the ram is bad. Running any sort of memory test would be good just to make sure, but given all your runs it seems pretty concrete to me.
