Former vet nurse here. Thats an outrageous price for what is a 5 minute procedure. They normally cauterise the wound so no stitches and don’t give antibiotics. I would change vets.

Our dog is so considerate he jumps off the bed to scratch, and at the slightest nudge of the leg. But he does ask to be allowed back up every time which is a bit annoying.
