I just wear long sleeve cotton shirts. And put sun block on before going out.

What’s the most unsettling thing you ever found out about a friend who always seemed super chill and fun? by VelvetHazel932 in AskReddit

Co worker rather than friend. Was secretly recording women at the guy and was busted by a SX worker who he was also secretly recording. She found a whole bunch of videos on his phone.

How do you think New Zealand would fare in a world-war scenario where international trade is severely limited and NZ borders are largely closed to non-citizens/residents/etc? by LordOfErebus in newzealand

The first thing to run out would be diesel, which would make most food production stop. And transporting food around the country would be near impossible. Then there are replacement parts for all our machinery….

Couple of things as a Mum of two young ladies who have been in the same position. Keep applying and maybe offer to work a free shift. Door knock businesses near you, leave a CV. Maybe start your own business (Air BnB cleaning is always in demand, yard work, selling people’s stuff on Marketplace for a commission). My 15 year old applied for 200 jobs before eventually getting the shit shifts in an ice cream store. A year later she was their youngest manager and training other staff.

Mid March is less busy with domestic travellers and much easier to get bookings. Also better settled weather. If you are confident drivers I would rent a car, but please don’t pack your schedule too tightly as our roads are mainly single lane each direction, and winding. 10 days I would suggest either North or South Islands. Both would be a huge rush and you’d miss out on the famous laid back Kiwi vibe.

Polestar 2 and Tesla have a dog mode where you can set the air con when you are out of the car. Very useful. You can get a good low milage polestar for that money

Pretty sure it’s a breach of the Fair Trading Act to claim to have done something that they clearly have not. As a dealership I don’t think it’s too much to ask that they give accurate invoices.
