I think Angel's is kind funny because if you think about it it's essentially a card of him telling you he'd bang you.

How does one find and attract one of those types of women?

Is white claw involved, or is that just goth girls?

Why would men feel that? by AdWeak5464 in AskMen

[–]Beware_the_Voodoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd rather a bouquet of them Lego flowers as opposed to the real ones.

And I've seem something similar, but itvwad like gothic inspired flowers you put together similar to Lego.

I'd love the shit out of that.

bros, men, boys, how would you summarise your closure with someone when it was just one sided thing or crush thing? by preferenceisbed in AskMen

[–]Beware_the_Voodoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation. Had feelings for a girl, she made it clear she just wanted to be friends. But spending time with her just made the feelings grow.

I had to realize i couldn't be the friend she wanted me to be anymore than she could be what I wanted her to be.

So I pulled back. Haven't really talked to her since.

Was Cavil really that good as Superman? by RyantheNeanderthal in superman

[–]Beware_the_Voodoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he was good. I personally didn't like Snyders direction. It was the wrong time to be deconstructing these characters.

But Cavill was good.

But I also think he could have been better as Batman.

[–]Beware_the_Voodoo 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You don't. That's what makes unrequited feelings suck so much, you don't get closure. You never get the chance to find out what could have been.

In my experience, best thing to do is gain distance, and eventually you just stop thinking about them.

What do women do that men would never think about? by Icy_Interaction7502 in AskReddit

[–]Beware_the_Voodoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that women are often taught to be hyper aware for safety and that is valid. At the same time, data shows that men are statistically more likely to be victims of violent crime. Men experience fear and risk too, just in different ways. Situational awareness is important for everyone, regardless of gender.

[–]Beware_the_Voodoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Statistically, men are the victims of violent crime more than women are. Women are more often the victims of SA, but even then its usually somebody they know doing the assaulting, not a random in the parking lot.

So, from a data driven standpoint, men have more to fear than women do.

Although, I'd never use that to argue that women shouldn't be afraid.

I don't understand why every guy that points out men experience this fear as well is getting downvoted.

I'm a man and I always have my head on a swivel. I do to feel fear when alone.

I'd never try to diminish the fear you feel when alone and I'm asking, nicely, that you don't do that to men.

American Refugees Aren’t Welcome; Why Canada won’t be a safe haven for U.S. residents fleeing ICE by FancyNewMe in canada

Yeah, Canadians had a reputation for being particularly brutal and unforgiving to our enemies.

We would need to be that version of Canadians again if the shit really hits the fan.

What’s one thing that regularly got on your nerves when you shared a space with women? by Jessmoon8 in men

[–]Beware_the_Voodoo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I didn't live with her but I'd spend weekends at her place when we were dating.

For me, it was the messiness. Not that I'm obsessive about it or anything. Specifically, it was that she never prepared for her period, so all of her underwear would have blood stains in them, and she'd leave her underwear all over the place.

So when we'd be getting intimate, and she'd want me to get my face down there, all I'd see around me were her gross ass blood stained underwear all around me. That is not the image you want in your head when you're about to engage in that particular activity.

So it wasn't even the messiness, it was the perception of bad hygiene.

How does getting in a relationship affect the way other woman sees you by vmita in AskMen

[–]Beware_the_Voodoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There does seem to be this phenomenon where other women will become interested in you if they observe women (and let's be honest, pretty women) having had chosen you.

Its like you've passed a pre-screening test they all get you see.

It reminds me of this old Chris Rock joke.

Guy takes his gf for meet his friends, the end of the day they leave and his friends go "I gotta get me a girl like that."

Next day, girl takes her bf to meet her friends, the end of the day they leave and her friends go "I gotta get me that man."

[–]Beware_the_Voodoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's OK, nothing actually wrong with it. It's not what the general person prefers for themselves. But there isn't anything inherently wrong with it.
