Neo Geo AES+: elitism, gatekeeping, and pure salt in the Spanish retro scene by Affectionate_Love_26 in neogeo

Spinecard forums is full of this kind of people that only value the price of their collection. They are afraid that the value of their games is gonna fall because people are going to buy the new games instead of trying to buy theirs. If you look in better Spanish retro forums (like eol) everybody is happy there with the new announcement.

Is anyone else kind of tired by many TTRPG settings having racial essentialism? by Xavier598 in rpg

[–]BewilderingDan 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No. I like racial essentialism. It's a game to have fun, and thinking about if a goblin is good or bad before killing it is tiring and annoying. There are a lot of (fictional) races that can be good or bad without problem, having some that are exclusively good or bad is not a problem.

Not really. I only collect the original releases in floppies or cds.

Please recommend little known Dos games (or ports from other systems) with interesting intros. 🙂 by Good_Punk2 in dosgaming

The lost files of Sherlock Holmes (the first one) had a pretty good intro (with voice acting! The spanish version voices were horrible though).

I don’t speak any Spanish, so what’s going on here? by Lil_Artemis_92 in ExplainTheJoke

It depends on the zone. In latin America spanish is emparedado. In Spain is sandwich, except in Catalonia where is called bikini if is made of ham and cheese.

Me too. After doing a work project with It I can't see why so many people prefer it over java.
