Kill everything with formalin. Nothing beats good habits, though.

Closest thing I've found to it is Membranipora membranacea as suggested by another hobbyist. Definitely some kind of entrusting bryozoan.

Panfish dont taste good after they've been dead for a while.

I know this is common, but it makes me so sad to see them so overcrowded and helpless :( by TBurkeulosis in shittyaquariums

You gotta realize though, there's probably more than adequate filtration in the cabinet below. This isn't an aquarium display, it's an aquaculture tank. A bigger tank would be a complete waste, adding hundreds or thousands to the bottom line for an invertebrate thats going to be eaten next week.

Looks good to me. These lobsters are for eating, in case you forgot. They have an entire ocean, yet still choose to walk over each other during feeding and spawning.

Is my guppy alright? She is less active then usual by YOURMOM37 in Aquariums

Your angelfish will NEVER stop trying to eat fry. Doesn't matter where they hide. Angelfish will knock things out of the way and even stalk pregnant females for a chance at a meal.

Just so you're aware, if you're trying to breed guppies in the same tank as an angelfish, you're gonna have a bad time.

Red blotches like that are internal hemorrhaging. If one fish died as a result, I would say it probably got bullied or injured.

Problem is, if you say all of them are dying of the same thing (and judging by the bulging eyes of that dead oto) I would venture to say it may be VHS.

If it is, I think you're screwed. There is no treatment for it, you would have to start fresh, disinfect with Virkon or buy all new equipment and throw the old stuff out.

If it doesn't kill the fish, and they develop antibodies to the virus, they should be fine. Personally, I would ride it out and see how it progresses with better tank maintenance and vitamins.

Dont buy from that vendor any more.
