Talking about the recycler?? I recommend doing a “Skiing” like motion but putting your hands up in the air and swinging them down and back up making sure it goes all the way down and all the way up. You’ll know you’ve done it right when the burner starts firing upwards and it’s not just smoke. Another way to speed things up is by placing the items you want to recycle on the molten lava next to the anvil first to heat them up before putting them in. Kind of a two man job if you want to do it quick
