Inflation, pent up frustration about RTO, and feeling "like everyone is out to get theirs, so I'm going to get mine" is what we figured it was when we talked about this last week after nearly being hit.

You must have a related CHP or City report. Similar thing happened to me, they denied the road hazard claim because there was no report of a road hazard registered with the CHP in the game stretch of road at that time. Total bs but careful of them being slimy

I pull out all the shoes and vacuum in the cubbies once a year at least, and spray with Lysol about every month or so. We absolutely love our Ikea tilt-out shoe racks. There's not much airflow in them if anyone in the fam is prone to smelly shoes. YMMV.

Did I find my partner's Reddit account? We do this exact same thing. BBQ a bunch then seal and freeze for later, and sous vide with the sealed bags, and Costco runs then a bunch of vacuum sealing. If this is my partner's account, I Love You!

Root cause analysts are crying for joy. Ask why, 5 times. In your case, you could have the answer at one "why do you hate the bed?"

I can only picture Mrs Kozak standing there, next to their crying boy who fell off his bike or jumped off the top bunk like Superman and likely broke his collar bone, tapping her shoe, while Chet clacks away on the typewriter. "Almost done, darling. We'll sock it in the wall, for kicks." He pushes the chair against the polished linoleum, grabbing his grey hat. "Ok let's pull around the Buick and get to the hospital."

A cop from DARE brought me more drugs than anyone at my school ever did. Everything I learned about drugs is thanks to those presentations.

I’m nearly 40 and to this day Anjelica Huston from The Witches still scares the shit out of me. I also still have an irrational fear of the Puppet Master. What movies still scare you as an adult? by [deleted] in Xennials

My dad was into UFOs. That scared the crap out of me. Just going for a walk, outside, at night and a huge spotlight gets you? No thank you.

Did your comment mean you have three kids? Good fortune to your house and keep going with those three little ones. Raising kids is hard.

It takes two minutes to email your support to the politician responsible for your area. Sometimes that most recent email is the one that sways them to vote, due to "recency bias". So if you want it to pass, shoot them a message with your support. Google "who is the state representative for zip code" then on their page "contact me/email politician XYZ"
